The thing I have never understood is why do you have to rerender all images again if they are already rendered. There should be a way to execute the nodetree without rerendering the 3d scene.

If you create multiple scenes in the same file and then a composition scene, you can pull all those renders into one node tree.

Maybe with a python script, but not straight from the nodegroups.

The only way I know how to do this with multiple cameras would be to set up a new "linked copy" scene then add a new camera and make your adjustments there. Then choose that scene in your original scene's compositor render layers nodes.
