Not a single kms of rail lines under the Freight Corridor project was laid until 2014, now.. 90% of the EDFC has been completed and ready to start once the electrification is over. Also, a stretch of recent 300km of New - Rewari New - Madar on the EDFC was inaugurated on 7 January by PM Modi. While the amount of money spent since 2006 to 2014 was just 4000crs, that amount is now whopping 1,45,000 Crs.
