I’ve read that people think it’s about Kanye and how he and Kim recorded her in a phone call then edited the call to make it look like she was lying about saying she was okay with Kanye calling her a bitch, etc., in a song he released. People believed Kanye at first, Taylor was called a phony. Then, somehow, the full conversation was released and showed that Kanye and Kim had lied about the conversation and he hadn’t told her about the actual lyrics.

Yes in 2016 after Kanye and Kim had illegaly recored and edited a phonecall making it seem like Taylor was lying, called her a snake and she was "cancelled". "Taylorswiftisoverparty" trended worldwide, even the media bullied her, it was a disgusting time honestly, mostly for Taylor but also for us fans in the trenches who never doubted her.. Taylor thought her career might be over, deleted her social media to black and disappeared for a year. Then one day a snake appeared on her social media and she came back with this song and Reputation album. The original recording of the phonecall was leaked years later and it proved that Kim and Kanye were lying and also how he actually had called that day to manipulate her (like he has done so many times before) wanted her to promote his song on her social media (she refused) and then promised she would get to hear the entire song before it was released ( he didn´t) His song also had a disgusting MV with Taylors naked body as a wax doll in bed with him.🤮 In this performance she is re creating her MV for this song.

As you can imagine it was a little overwhelming to take in all of the Eras Tour live. I was there one of these filming nights in LA and I think she was performing on another level. But when the Reputation set started it was like the very molecules in the air changed. She walked out a different person with the bass, the guitars, and the lights. The steam was very hot LOL. By far the best part of the whole experience.

On mentioning all the stage props, Taylor gave a $100,000 bonus to each truck driver (and there were dozens of drivers) as well as a hand written thank you letter to each driver. I thought that was a class move by her, she truly shows she appreciates every single person behind the scenes that allows her to do what she does.

You need to see the video! It is amazing! This is about Kanye & Kim...she sings "I don't like your little games; I don't like your tilted stage (he did that on his tour) I don't like how you laugh when you lie etc." What Kanye did is he 'made her' get tough & hard & not trust anyone anymore. Originally, when Taylor was 19, he jumped on stage when she was receiving an award for her video & he took the mic from her & screamed that Beyonce had the best video etc. & left that young girl standing there embarrassed & confused. He got a ton of flak afterwards, even from President Obama & he finally apologized to her & she naively accepted it. Fast forward a few years & he calls her & asks to use her name in a song. Taylor agrees to hear the song & then decide, but he did it anyway (which is why she sings "you said the gun was mine". Anyway, in his song he sang "I might even sleep with Taylor Swift someday. I made that bitch famous!" (The mic incident). Anyway, Taylor got upset that he called her a bitch in the song. Then Kim K released an edited version of the phone call, making Taylor out to be a liar & calling her a snake, which is why Taylor has snakes in various ways through many of the songs from the album. The media turned their backs on 'fake nice Taylor' and so she disappeared for a year. She came back with her Reputation tour & these songs show how resilient she is. She 'came back from the dead' in her eyes & reinvented herself... again. All the 'Taylor's' at the end of this video are from her earlier videos & are the 'old Taylor', who is now dead. Taylor did a song about Kim too, called 'thanK you aIMee''. Notice which letters are capitalized. LOL Also, the entire phone call has now been released & the truth is out & Taylor was vindicated & now Swifties have turned on Kim & Ye.

Taylor needs to have a lot of stage props. Without them it’s just her with a microphone, guitar, and piano. She is incredibly talented and deserves all the success in the world, but that wouldn’t work as a show. Her voice isn’t a “stage” voice, it’s a recording voice. People like Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé, and Lady Gaga only need a small band behind them and access to instruments. P!nk also has no need for props on stage, she uses TONS OF THEM, but that is because she wants to make every show the best that she has ever performed. When people call Taylor a superstar I always ask them to reconsider that word. Superstardom is not based on sales, or releases, or even popularity. It’s based on raw talent, audience connection, the ability to be level headed, and a kind personality and perspective on life. I again point twoards Pink. She has been in the industry over double the amount of time. The rollercoaster of her life has never stopped her from releasing a new album. She also has never released an album below number 2 on the charts. She spends her free time doing manual labor on a vineyard that she purchased and is run by her and her husband. She has donated over 3/4 of the money she has made to the NAACP, Women’s Rights Organizations, LGBTQ+ Groups, and Planned Parenthood. She easily sold out her stadium tour in under 30 minutes. How? The BEST seat in the house was $225, the worst were $15. She wants everyone to be able to come and have a good time seeing her. That is superstardom.
