Thank you, great interview. I read on the MPH website the average age is 36 (student demographic)! Do you think that freshly graduated med students are frequently accepted, are ppl with work experience rather preferred?

That's a great question. In my personal cohort, which was about 50-60% physicians, there were probably only a handful there were freshly graduated med students - probably less than 5? Most were either fresh out of residency or a few years out residency/fellowship and were mid-career.

Does the MPH have a list of students they are admitting for the July intake?

Hi Lisa, I don't believe/recall any publicly available list for admitted MPH students. However, the students that were admitted will usually be provided a list of those students during orientation.

Gotcha. For me personally, I'd likely be in the same position since I didn't change positions after graduating with my MPH (I'm an informatics pharmacist). However, the MPH has piqued my interest in other areas that I had not previously considered like public policy, population health, and epidemiology. I imagine that I'll likely switch into a more public-health focused position in the coming years due to the impact the MPH had on me.
