My oldest was one of the biggest "Dukes of Hazzard" fan, especially of John Schneider. I took her to see John in concert at the Cincinnati zoo when she was a teenager. She got to go to the museum run by Ben "Cooter" Jones in Virginia but her greatest thrill was seeing John sing again and getting her picture made with him a year or so before she died of kidney cancer last year. I am happy she got to meet one of her teen idols.

Now, it's all sex, violence, stupidity, and how many times they can drop the F-bomb. Even Daisy in her little outfits was never over-sexualized. Just two good ole boys, Never meaning no harm. Beats all you ever saw, been in trouble with the law Since the day they were born. Straightenin' the curves, Flattenin' the hills. Someday, the mountain might get 'em but the law never will. Makin' their wayyyyyy, the only way they know how. Well, that's just a ittle bit more than the law will allow. Just two good ole boys, Wouldn't change if they could, Fightin' the system like two modern day Robin Hoods.[YEE-HAW (Seldom heard verse): I'm a good ole boy, You know my mama loves me. But she don't understand, they keep a-showin' my hands And not my face on T.V.

Not sure I understand the verse at the end🤷. Something to do with Schneider getting crap for defending the general?

@@austrexican1152 It's an in-joke referring to the fact that in the opening titles you see the guitarist (Waylon Jennings)'s hands but not his face. (Although he did appear in person in one episode).

I would love to see a reboot or just simply a few fan film series on KZbin with John and Tom, if not just for the nostalgia and nod to us original fans. How hard could it be to do a few 30 minute skits of Beau and Luke doing what they do?
