Awesome! Planning to streamline a little though. 1 style for build progress and a little more on the fun side, and then another “more formal” style for the tutorials! Thanks for watchin’!

Very cool boat! Found your channel through Curtis at Hot Action Fishing and Fab. I like to see other DIY folks boat building as I do. Love Andy at Boatworks Today but like most I don’t have a shop and work outside with what I can afford...

i have a johnsen skiff almost the same , I keep it Florida, We live in Alaska and come down each spring, we take it out in the gulf from the barge canal, but don't go out very far, it sure does pound in a chop, its got a 25hp evirude and a side console. I like what you are doing with the one in thw video.

Thanks so much! I get most of my materials from Fiberglass discount store in Tampa. Small Mom and Pop place so no website buy I prefer to support the small business folks when I can! I also buy from Fiberglass coatings, composites one, and Bateau/Boat builder central. I purchase my core through Fiberglass discount store.

James can a flats boat deck be covert to a complete flat deck to be more lack a pontoon boat? My wife has a problem to clime in out of the well seat
@jcdesignsandboat-works82904 жыл бұрын
It can, look up Texas scooter style skiffs. Same priceable. Most of those are cat hulls but East Cape skiffs has done a few full decks on some of their builds.

Is that board buoyant?
@jcdesignsandboat-works82904 жыл бұрын
Not as buoyant as the lower density foams but is lighter than equal volume of water so yes.
