Stephanie, you do some of the best reviews online. Many years ago my wife, another couple and myself drove through that area heading to the Biltmore Estate and I honestly thought to myself that I'd love to live there some day. Well our move from PA to Florida was perfect for my wife, but I really wish I could get back to the mountains and small town feel. Anyway, thank you for such great reviews. It's probably the closest I'll ever get to your area....happy wife happy life they say.

Please tell me why it's the greatest town in America to live in... I saw a lot of strip malls... I love to find a town about 10-15 miles away with some rural back door piece... I would probably like going to the city for groceries... But frankly I want to live in a little peaceful country place with a walking trail out the back door...

Someday we hope to get a homestead property in the Tri-Cities area and trying to come up with affordable places to stay while looking for the right property. Short term apartments or long term hotels are quite expensive. We thought of using a travel trailer to put in a year round camping site or possibly an air bnb. Any suggestions on good affordable options?
@LivinginJohnsonCityTennessee2 жыл бұрын
Some of our clients are staying at air b&bs. They are finding them to be more affordable for long terms stays. We have also had clients stay in their RVs. You may have to stay at more than one campground. Most of them have time limits. Short term apartments are very difficult to find.
@joewoodchuck3824 Жыл бұрын
Your search for property may not take too long, thus your near term housing may not cost so much. We stayed in a weekly hotel for about 5 weeks before moving to our new address. Book through one of the travel web sites for the best price.
