'Franklin St.' memories...in the 40's, Franklin ST. Lunch !!!! I think across the street from down town city park.....made SUPER hotdogs and cherry pie for dessert. It was our routine when Mom was done shopping. I was '54 graduate of Johnstown Central HS. and after nurse training worked 5 years at Lee hospital, OB. Hard to imagine all those babies grown up!!! Now living in NM, 87. Best wishes to all! and thanks for the video!

You are my fathers age , his name was Dan Kennedy. My father told me a few stories of Franklin St.. My older brother and I were born in Johnstown in the late fifties. I have only my Aunt and two cousins that still live there. I remember my father mentioning Penn Traffic and the park in town.

A trip back in time for me. Traveled that street many times with my family and riding my bicycle into town to attend the YMCA.. I have not been back there for about 62 years.
