Great review John, Any idea when the second version with a functional elastic belt will be available? Thanks.
@JohnTYoung4 жыл бұрын
Thanks Luke. I've no idea. Your best bet is to ask Mosko Moto directly. They may really like the belt the way it is.

Thanks for the review. Looking at these as my next pair. I've only been riding a few years and pretty much only buying Mosko gear at this point. Pricey, but worth it.

Awesome video. Does it have a pocket to put a hip armour?
@JohnTYoung4 жыл бұрын
Nope. No armor and no place for any. You gotta wear your MX gear.

Thanks for the detailed review. How to wash then after they get all grimy...is it OK to machine wash them with the leather sections at the side of the knee ?
@JohnTYoung4 жыл бұрын
I'd have to ask Mosko Moto for the details but I did wash mine and so far they haven't fallen apart.

Too bad those dang things are never in stock. If p3 makes a heat shield for that header, I highly recommend. I think Mosko nailed it on this. There's a whole light adv segment that doesn't have any clothes. I just end up wearing my hard enduro get up, but with shielded helmet now. After searching forever, finally found a Scorpian laminate shell jacket with C2 armor in the elbows, chest, shoulders, and back, even has built in kidney belt. As if it was made for light adv. Probably still only use it on the big days with big bike friends, though.

The Adventure Spec gear works well too. Anything made for Rally works well for long had days.

Have you seen the newest Rev'it Dirt Series collection? Do you think Mosko Moto offers customers better product quality than Rev'it?
@JohnTYoung3 жыл бұрын
I have only seen a few DIRT series products, but they look very nice. Very well built. I can not speak to the whole line tho. As for quality, they both offer that, but I'd need some comparable gear to beat up for a trip or two to say.

Hi John, which brand and type are the pants while your are standing on the moto (your old ones)? Thanks for answering.

Those are ARC’TERYX Gamma SV from many many years ago. I don’t think they make them anymore

@@JohnTYoung Thx for your quick answer. The Woodsman is sold out too. So maybe I have to wait. Does the Woodsman Pants has bags for the knee and hip protectors?

No. Like all of Mosko Motos stuff it’s made to go over your MX style armor

Yes, Arcteryx is a Canadian company. Best pants... I really liked Mosko Moto's Basalisk pants, tho KLIM makes good stuff too.
