I installed some of these L E D lights on a flatbed at work bed lights. Back up lights and a light bar on the front. Also put on some beacons up top. They work incredibly well. Remember the rear window story. It cost 1100 bucks to get replaced. 😮 sorry boss. Good lightning is so nice to have. Nicely done John 😊

Why not just get your power and grounds from that non-used pig tail? LED lights draw very little current. I don't know the gauge of that wire but it might be worth checking out. Obviously, if the lights draw more current than the wire will support, then, yes, your relay idea is "money". Thanks for posting.

I just thought this would be the safest way so nothing would have too much draw on it. Plus stuff like this is fun for me. Thanks.
