This song is so well arranged with a mixture of haunting emotions and the music direction is a class beyond imagination, until anyone that hears it. The two Artists are a cut above the Country Songs originators. John put in such emphasis to make it as a real situation happening and I am watching it, whilst it is happening to me also. A want, a desire, a wish, and i want it to last until my last breath. The music arrangement and orchestration fits so compatibly with the voice and that electronic music gets into my mind and thoughts, that's it, all over. If I had a terminal illness or Covid , my God I would appreciate this song to ease the thoughts of dying and departure from life. It is only once in this world but the Song is more deeper , one sided deep love, if compassion, and caring are deep in a relationship, but a period of separation occurred and that is when the longing for togetherness to happen. It is an emotional song with such powerful lyrics that matured intelligence could follow this through, 50.60. 80 years together and a separation brought on the agony of missing that special someone. This deserves an Oscar. Thanks. The Music compliments the singing especially if loneliness and sadness has taken over our state of mind.
