@@johnxsantos Ah it's those pesky narrow lasts that are harming most peoples' toes! Oh how I wish wide toe box lasts were used in the process of plush sole cushioning in sneakers for women like myself who've had hysterectomy surgeries due to cancer and now have very sensitive and tender toes, heels, tendons, ligaments, bones and skin😭Can I make a custom sneaker with a manufacturer out there that offers wide toe box-type lasts available?
@M-E-G-A4 жыл бұрын
I used to repair shoes for a living. And I can tell ya that the waffle design in the heel are for the cushioning. The waffle lines usually crumble in a few years and I would fill the waffle with square pieces of Vibram material. This will give the old shoe more time to serve its purpose.

O K His point most likely was: There’s alot of things we buy that we don’t even give a second thought to. It’s easy for us to be in an automatic mode all day every day and psychologically our brain couldn’t handle it if we thought about every single thing all day every day. Like the pieces of clothing we wear, who cut it and stitched it together. Or who harvested those vegetables, who washed them, who butchered that cow, who cut the wood for your furniture, who cut down the tree... you get my point. And yes, to some extent, we might even think those things are easy and on a much smaller scale than in actuality. We shouldn’t be afraid of admitting that hey, maybe I didn’t appreciate someone’s labor enough.
