Part 4. Demolition of the Legislative Services Building, across the street from the Maryland State House in Annapolis, Maryland. It was built in the 1970s, designed to blend in with the older buildings around it. It will be replaced by a new Legislative Services Building on the same spot.

Great photography again John. Amazing how that ladder fell out and the guy salvaged it with his long reach so delicately with a piece of pipe and how the end finishes with you showing it off to live for another day. Some great skills shown what can be done with shears in the right operators hands. I really like how you capture so much detail and a bit of everything including the other machines processing the recyclables. Looking forward to watching your videos with this company who have great machinery and style. No one produces videos like you do your really on the ball, love it. Cheers keep up the good work.

It is a great show of skill that he could spear the ladder with that big pipe without crushing one of the steps. Very impressive!

Great video, John. I echo everything Peter Engels says in his comment. You do a great job capturing all the details - love the rescue of the ladder and the way you included it at the end. It was a shame the video was interrupted no fewer than four times in the space of less than ten minutes with exactly the same two ads. I realise that the ads are necessary - but are they inserted randomly by KZbin and are they the same ads everywhere? I never want to hear that "chromebukk" ad again!

When they can, KZbin tries to target the ads to whatever they know about the viewer, where the viewer is, and the video subject. For example, a few years ago when I was in Virginia the month before their election for governor, I saw a ton of political ads that I did not see when I was watching KZbin in neighboring Maryland. If they can't target an ad, they will just show ads for a general audience.

Great videos John. I just wonder why one part has steel frame and the other part is concrete. Was either a later addition?

Steel was used on the large spans for the auditorium in the center of the building, and for the top level and roof. I have seen steel upper floors on top of concrete lower floors many times, such as this office building: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hp_ZiJmblJ2Io7s
