At one point, Paris didn't want any wildlife in the city at all. Nature was slowly reintroduced when King Louis made people see nature in a different way. In Legends: Arceus, people and pokemon live separate lives and are just barely coming together as partners. Legends: Z-A could be so rich in lore. It'll most likely focus on the point where Lumiose City goes from a concrete fortress meant to keep out hostile pokemon, to a modern mecca where people and pokemon live and work together in peace and harmony.

In ORAS there was underwater battles, but in X&Y there was sky battles, ORAS also had battles in the sky, but the Sky battles in X&Y were a lot more limited.

You already covered most of my speculation for this game, all I’ve got left is that Game Freak have hired a lot of people lately. Perhaps this game is gonna be big enough that they’ll not announce the follow up to SV until the 30th anniversary and then hopefully have enough employees to handle whatever gets thrown at them. There’s so much potential with Pokémon, and I’ve honestly never got the feeling that there aren’t creative people with new ideas working on the games, more that they aren’t able to implement new ideas in enough areas so they fall back on new Pokémon designs and similar. What’s the point of reworking the battle system or overhauling the movement mechanics if you just feel like you won’t fully implement it in time AND other areas of development will suffer? Best just make the soundtrack awesome, design some cool Pokémon, and another rat I guess… and story? Every time they try something new there’s always SOME section of the fan base that whines about it being too long (SM), not focused enough (SV), or just a normal Pokémon story stretched out with a thin parody of PETA (BW, my own personal complaint, but the point still stands, I’m absolutely just whining). Honestly, in my ideal world there’d be money thrown at more experimental Pokémon stuff, preferably more mature focused (for the stereotypical stuff maybe a little swearing I guess, but I’m more thinking about stronger themes of injustice, maybe more explicit examples, et cetera) content in areas that haven’t seen it, mostly being the anime and games. The manga, from what I hear, often touch on more mature themes already. Honestly the anime touches on more mature themes than most of the games (Pokémon Hunter J probably isn’t THAT strong a swimmer…).

Oh, silly me, there HAVE been some at least somewhat more mature anime spin-offs, they’re often rather good… still, I’d like more of that please, maybe even an ongoing series. Not year round, but 15-20 episodes or something. Sounds really good to me. I really have to watch more of the side stuff they have done that’s not directly related to the main series, maybe one of them got Lance right… don’t get me wrong, I love Lance in the anime, but I really wanna see the one from the games be heavily featured, with his tendency to assault criminals with his Dragonite, and his general ego. Ooh, and game Clair and Whitney finally getting told to STFU in an anime rather than a let’s play. “Wah, wah, snivel, hic, you meanie…”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KING 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽 I do have to say, about the diving theory… I’m not so sure that we’re gonna be able to do that. I think if anything, it’s gonna be like in the Indigo Disk DLC, where Pokémon would hide underwater and come out eventually. Mind you, we were still able to catch them underwater if they weren’t too deep.

happy birthday Jonny, so a little something that i've been kind of thinking on for za is what if in the events of the game this would be the first time that mega evolution is discovered in kalos so that would mean an important character would need to have a lucario which would be korrina's ancestor along with the factor for kalos the first pokemon to mega evolve was lucario and the first discovery of mega evolution would work well for the theming of a legends game as it is about creating the coexistence of humans and pokemon and a strong bond is need between trainer and pokemon to acheive mega evolution. However i do want to point out that this is also somewhat weak to some extent as it somewhat might feel too late in the timeline to happen so i'll admit that along with probably a few other flaws that can be easily pointed out in this little speculation/theory but i'd be curious to hear anyones thoughts on this as i havent really seen anyone bring this up and to also just point out issues with this thought i've had (also sorry for the long comment)

Nice video!! One note I have, Yvetal isn’t necessarily evil, nor is xerneas good. Death and life are both just natural processes; one just absorbs life energy and the other releases it. Maybe there will be a character that will want the city to either remain beautiful or gain beauty by other expelling or welcoming pokemon. I could see this being either or, depending on if Lysander’s ancestors character is similar or opposite to him.

Happy birthday Jonny. So I looked into something you might find interesting assuming the game is set in the past. The first inline skates were patented in Paris in the 1810s. Given their historic and in game availability Im betting we're going to see them in PLZA Bonus fact you may have already heard, a person in the trailer is wearing a baseball hat apparently those were available in france in the 1830s.

Happy belated birthday Jonny! I commented earlier but I guess it never came through! I hope it was great and here’s a mini theory for a a gift! I think Ingo and Gaeric are going to be in PLZA because of two separate things. Gaeric is the ancestor of Wulfric who is the last Gym Leader you face in XY and as for Ingo, Kalos does have trains so hopefully he can finally go home or least Emmet stays with him in the past just to become Paradoxes in Unova lol!!

This is assuming what was shown in the trailer has anything to do with actual gameplay. The way I saw it, the blueprint/tron style footage was simply the "vision" of what Lumiose city was to become.

I hope whenever we finally get a Legends Hoenn game, that they include the diving ability. I miss being able to do that in the old games. It's so cool to explore under the water! And see where the water type pokemon live! It's awesome! I am also hyped for Legends Z-A! Can't wait to get more information about this game in the form of an official trailer! It'll be great!

The tailor literally takes place in the present or future. There are baseball caps and purses. These are in the last 100 years and the style is more in the last 50. The architecture in France literally goes back hundred years because it wasn't made recently. There is literally NO EVIDENCE it will take place in the past at all. Galar had Victorian era and industrial era things despite taking place in the present. The pokemon fandome is wild and blind. echo chamber of bad thoughts that are scrambling because the carriage they all hooked their horses to(johoto or unova) exploded before them.
