Your bouquets are so gorgeous!! Love them and how you create such beauty!! But, my opinion you don't charge enough!! Here in the State's they go for $20.00-$25.00. Since your's have been the prettiest I've seen their worth way more!! I enjoy watching you put them together!! So colorful!!

Hi Sarah. Beautiful flower bouquets! I watch ‘You can’t eat the grass’ and they put up a Ring (or similar) doorbell camera in their roadside flower stand to try and deter people stealing. That way they are notified when someone arrives, have video footage and can check the number of bouquets to restock. Not sure if you’ve already looked into this or have Ring or something similar there in the UK; just thought to suggest this, as your bouquets are absolutely gorgeous and you clearly work very hard! 💐Hayz.

Hi Sarah! You mentioned your Achilea is looking a bit sad this year. Achilea does amazingly for about 5 years before it needs to be divided, so perhaps that's why you have less blooms this year, if you have had that patch for a while. Hope this helps Keep up the great work as always! I always love watching your videos!
@bloomandgray2 жыл бұрын
Ah that’s a good point!! Maybe I need to re-sow the whole patch again. They used to be so tall and lush!
@ValentinaIos2 жыл бұрын
@@bloomandgray It should be easier to just divide the plants in half rather than pull everything up and re-sow. I have never done it but there are plenty of videos on KZbin showing how to do it. As a plus, you can have extra plants to make a new bed or sell as potted plants if you want 😁

Well it looks like relocating the honesty box kept everyone honest. Cheeze. I can't believe you sell them for only $15.00. Like stated below, here in US they would certainly go for 20.00 to 25 if not more for those unique classy bouquet. I just bought one from a grocery store (it's Winter right now) and it cost be $22.00 for maybe 10 stems. But a girl's gotta have her bouquet! I'm so glad no one stole your bouquet. YOu were so hard. Onto the next video!

Hi Sarah, in terms of your dahlias, have you considered organza bags over the heads to protect the blooms? It's a lot of work but the trade off is great. These bags can be found on Amazon. They are considered wedding favor bags and have drawstrings. As soon as the bloom forms slip a bag over the bud and draw the strings tight. It can help prevent bug damage. Love your videos!

Sorry you have to read a second message from me 🙄🙈, you mentioned you are not getting time to do everything ? , have you thought about the idea of volunteers ?, you would be surprised by the amount of people that come to back pack around the UK that would be willing to work for just a good meal 😃, and now you are growing vegetables (saw a newer video ) , you might have something to feed them in return for a days work 🙂. If for some reason in the future i decide to explore the rest of the UK i would definetly stop by there if you took on volunteers , mostly just to see the beautiful views and flowers 😃

I'm jealous your weather is cool enough to be in long sleeves! Our temps have been 95-100, with 70%+ humidity. & its not cooling off on the afternoon 😫 I used to be able to go out either in the afternoon or in the afternoon or in the morning but now if I don't get up about 4 AM t and work til about 7 am then there is no use because the minute I stepped outside I am dripping with sweat at any other time of day! And I can only get anything done on my days off and lately my son has been keeping me up until around midnight so wait so it's been impossible for me to get out that early! 😞

Hello. I love the variety of blooms you put into the bouquets. I also think you should charge more. Here in the states some flower farmers add chemicals to the harvest buckets and then use a post treatment solution to extend vase life. Do you use anything like these or only clean buckets and water? Thank you.

LOVE your creativity on the bouquets! They are so so gorgeous, & the apricot cosmos are adorable! Wondering what is the name of the purple spiral you use as the spike in the bouquets? (Looks like a liatris?) And the yellow pompon gomphrena-like flower? (Appeared @ ~23 min) Thinking about growing these in my garden next year

I have had great success with astrantia, darker colours are best. Allium sphaeroceph, echinops and erngiums. Tried dahlias last year, wasn't impressed. Met a lady last year who hung them in a dark room with both heat and a dehumidifier, think that is going a bit far for me.

Sarah, I can't believe you are only charging 15 (pounds) for the most beautiful and large bouquets in your honesty box! They are 2-3 times bigger and wrapped prettier than most being sold by flower farmers in the US and Canada that I follow on KZbin! I watched one person only put 6-8 stems in each bouquet in Canada and charge $20 Canadian! Is there any way to add an electronic payment for your honesty box flowers? It might help with stealing and also increase more people's ability to pay. I don't carry cash on me 99% of the time. Love all your beautiful and informative vlogs. Greetings from Seattle, WA!
@bloomandgray2 жыл бұрын
Yes the pricing differences between the UK and US and Canada seem to be quite significant. People can pay online for the flowers too. Most people pay this way which is handy for them!
