On the glass shades, they have the heft and custard color of being old. I don’t think that flower embossing would be on newer Tuscan shades. Those flowers look like they might have coordinated well with that 1920s Jacobean look. Those flowers almost look like a tooled leather design in glass. I can see those shades being selected to go into a tasteful 1920s Hollywood bungalow. My mind rambling again. Don’t give us such hard assignments. What an aesthetic eye you have sir.

The 3 lamp shades look very nice on that celling fixture. But knowing you, sometime down the road you will find something that will appeal to you, and you will switch then for something you’ll like better. For now, look at it this way, you’ll enjoy the light and you’ll get rid of the darkness in that room.

Whoa Scott all those lamp shades!! 😍😍 Those three shade you just bought almost look as if they custard with nutmeg on the embossed art! Did you look and see if they are black light reactive? You wouldn't believe the detached retina I had when you were showing the other shades and right there was that beautiful Imperial Coral Shell Marigold Shade!!!!! Us carnival collectors werent exactly sure of production dates until recently when a lamp was found with paperwork showing it was purchase on December 18, 1912!!!! Wowza!!!!!

Watched a 6 month old video. The 3 glass lamp shades, that were in question, that u were not sure on! First, visually they looked beautiful and a nice marriage. The custard finish, Yep. The color for the time period, Yep. The pattern on the base of the shade, art deco look???? Maybe??? All in all, it looks perfectly lovely and I get great comfort in its' eye appeal!!! 💞💞🙃💞💞

I think your shades are old. The border at the bottom is much more detailed and crisp than modern glass wold be, in my opinion. Loved the live sale last night.

That was fun to watch. I love your cabinet and all the awesome green dishes inside of it. We grew up having hot chocolate at our Grandparents' cabin in the woods out of the green Fire King cups. I always love those cups, and I have a few that I will always keep. I do love your 3 glass shades on that lamp. They look great! Also, I'm impressed with your habit and commitment to eating healthy foods. You must have been raised right!

I want to see the squirrel. You know it is going to keep watching you for a few peanuts in the shell, or chestnuts. The design on the lamp is beautiful. Liking the lamp, what color is the bedroom walls? Have you tried finding two more feather shades. Plates, only ones reflecting FL, NJ, WA, and Washington, DC. Did purchase a town painting in the Rockwell tradition. Can't wait to see your picture rail. Be safe out there!

For lunch I had a hard boiling egg and a cup of cottage cheese and sliced peaches. Trying to eat better this new yr. Turning 58 was weird. The glass lamp shades are beautiful. Loved them all. The live sale is sooooo much fun. Although I was lagging about 20-30 seconds and missed out on many buys it was still so much fun. Everyone it seems to be enjoying this time together. It was supposed to be back to work today but in central MN we had another snow event and an extra day off. Fun to see behind the scenes. Last night was fun … too much lag time for me to be able to purchase had I tried, but I was there for the fun. I am leaning towards old for the lampshades, mostly because the decor features are in relief. Too complicated and expensive to do for modern mass production mass market items.

Dear Scott, I loved tagging along with you, enjoyed tiny glimpses of your presentation on how you prepare your food using antique /vintage items. Your days are quite interesting. What was the old saying, "necessity is the mother of invention?'. You're using that saying I'm sure every day. As for the shades on the light fixture, I thought that the fixture itself needs to be larger, then the proportions of the shades maybe would look correct, any way you go with your gut feeling.
