Kenzieee B but I don’t think it’s worth applying girl, they never call but are always posting that they’re hiring, I’ve applied like a million times girl and nothing I’ve called too and ask if they’re hiring some say they don’t know and to call another store 🤷🏻‍♀️ this company doesn’t really wanna hire anyone lol

I’d rather not. Sally Beauty is NOT a company that’s supportive or understanding of their employees, you will be forced to scam people (mostly the elderly) with a credit card that they can only use in the stores and have interest charges every month if they don’t pay it fully. You will be forced to close 5 days a week on a 7 to 8 hour shifts as a part time employee. You will be forced to push items on customers that they won’t need just so you can keep the store numbers up. You will be forced and pressured to make the numbers at the stores and the sales of the days and month, but you will only get $1 to $5 of commissions if you sell 1 certain item yet the manager who sits on her office in her phone all day after getting her numbers high get a percentage of the sales plans to her paycheck while regular employees don’t get anything but a stupid pin. You will be forced to take extra hours from the ones in your contract but will not be paid over time. You will not get a medical plan, unless you pay $59 from 1 paycheck and the rest from the other paycheck. You will not get holiday pay. You only get 1 week vacation while some managers can get up to 2 weeks of vacations. You cannot talk to coworkers when the store is empty because management doesn’t want employees to be friendly unless they are there to monitor what you say and do. If your a college de student management will do anything BUT help you with a flexible schedule, I used to hear my classes during pandemic on an AirPod cause my manager didn’t care I had classes. If you are employed by Sally’s and need another job they will not be flexible or mindful with you, they will put you on midday so you won’t have any time for the other job, and if you quit cause you found a better opportunity they will make you feel bad about it. If you call HR to report they won’t do anything cause it is a 3rd party, if you call DM’s then you will get reprimendas and a report for doing so. This is not a company I would recommend to ANYBODY. DO NOT APPLY TO SALLY BEAUTY. Fuck Sally’s. Fuck the DM’s. Fuck the managers and fuck HR that don’t know or do shit to help employees be 🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻🖕🏻

Working at Sally has been my favorite job for almost 4 and a half years. That being said, astonishingly bad management is ruining our entire district our here in Arizona.

Our passion for this industry is being drained out of us completely by terrible management, and terrible behavior by management. We no longer get excited about going in, we now dread it, or at least how unnecessarily miserable new management make every day of our lives at Sally. I can’t even recommend working at Sally to friends of mine anymore, because what once was my favorite job, is now being managed so miserably. Our new store manager has killed morale completely. No wonder her last Sally store closed. Kangaroo Court levels of nepotism are not only why our new store manager was forced on us, but why she seems immune to having to take any responsibility for her own actions, where other managers always have to. This is because bad management on a store level, was forced on us by bad management on the district level. We never wanted to lose our last manager, let alone for someone like this. And that’s why morale is dead. Only at Sally.
