Cool -- great pictures (and memories)! Love the Portra 800 shots and Lomo Purple especially. Yep -- part of taking pictures (film or otherwise) is sharing the photos *and* the experience, but we're all over the map when it comes down to that! I'm more comfortable sharing photos online (FaceBook Frugal Film Project and a bit on Instagram) -- and generally taking photos by myself. But it was fun when I was out in Ohio last year to visit my daughter and her family, and you met up with all of us in 'small-town Ohio' for some shots and chatting!

As a fellow introvert, I love this video! However, I'm also not shy, especially around fellow film or history nerds, which makes attending these events much easier. But at the same time, they can be a little draining around people after a full day/weekend. I still remember the first Toronto Film Shooters Meetup that I planned, I didn't think it would go over well, but you know it's still going strong going on 11 years!

I sometimes envy extroverts and wish that I was more comfortable at in-person events, but if I'm out with people having a good time I'd have less time to nerd out in my hobbit hole and create videos 😅

Yes, I’m starting to be more comfortable on photowalks after getting a lot of reps in this past year. Now I nerd out in public with like minded photographers and create videos in my hobbit hole afterwards.
