I plan to renew my membership for the 4th year! Of course it does suck that we pay about the same as the Japanese members, with far less perks. And it does seem like every time I want to take advantage of the exclusive access to merch, I miss out. It always sells out too fast for me. But I pay it every April and end up totally forgetting about it. Then when January rolls around I'm pleasantly surprised by my little package in the mail with all my goodies! I want to support Sailor Moon and let them know that they do have a fan base overseas so maybe one day they cater to us a little more!

I bought the membership a few years ago just for the experience but through the pandemic etc I couldn't afford to have it. I might repurchase it for 2025 because my spouse and I are planning a 12 year anniversary trip to japan! And it would be so magical to have the membership to go to the sailor moon store and maybe, luckily, attend an event if all the stars align. I've been a moonie since I was in 1st grade and I'd record the episodes on my little VHS TV every single day- and I cannot understand why on earth the franchise doesn't have better coordination. There's clearly demand overseas for special things that many of us would pay good money to be apart of. It's odd to see other Japanese franchises that are smaller get so much more. Anyways, thank you Ochi for always making these videos! They are so helpful :)

OMG, Ochi, thank you for uploading news on the new upcoming PrettyGuardians 2024 Overseas club this year!!!! I'm super excited for this one- I have been part of PrettyGuardians since 2016 to 2019 and then finally resign again for the club around 2023 during SM Cosmos season and finally got my 2023 membership card with the Sailor Moon 30th Anniversary sticker and the Eternal Tiare pin!!! It's always totally worth it as I love Sailor Moon and also enjoy their new goodies so I'm looking forward of joining again and also have a year of being a Prism star member for the first time!!!

Getting my 3 year star this year! What annoys me is I was somehow part of the Japanese club in 2016, and got reset on overseas. Oh well! I prefer the renewal gifts over the jewelry gifts, but they are very pretty. I used the lip gloss from year 1 more than any of the jewelry type items. If it’s Sailor Moon, I’ll spend my money on it. 😂

Finding out about it several years back was exciting and the novelty felt fun... but honest talk; that spark faded fast. I've subscribed a couple years, skipped a year here, did a year there...etc. And unfortunately, but not angrily the club never felt worth it on this side of the ocean and I didn't regret anything on the years I skipped. I don't think I'll ever be a member again.. but that doesn't mean it's not awesome for others.

I’ve just got a couple of questions, i signed up for the first time and I just have a couple of questions, I’m from Australia and I just want to know if anyone else were surprised to see the cost of shipping, I was looking at ordering an acrylic stand and it would only of been 4 Aud and then when it came to shipping it said that it would be equivalent to $64 Aud and I was shocked, also when the items that we get as membership bonuses do we get an email saying when it gets shipped and can we receive tracking. Also for an Australian to get the membership it was $105 Aud and that was due to conversion.

I remember my friend telling me about the fan club in 2016, and seeing her beautiful gift necklace, but I couldn’t afford it at the time. I still don’t really think it’s “worth” the price of membership, unless you’re really into exclusive merch and bragging rights. That said, I still feel like a bad fan for not joining 😢

I would love to do this but to me it’s not worth it. Because they rarely do anything for the overseas fan club. I already have a fan club membership for another thing. I’m part of the official Carrie Underwood fan club and we have exclusive first dibs on concert tickets before anyone. We also have exclusive parties for Carrie Underwood and she is always at the parties. Also we have opportunities for a meet and greet with her. Like I said I would love to do this but to me it’s not worth it.

YES! They usually send out an e-mail before they begin shipping and they ask for any address changes.

That's a good question. They do not say. I would join well before June 30th Japan time JUST in case. Give yourself a couple of days before June 30th to make your decision. :)
