Hi Pam B. so happy you re-joined! --The full tutorial is in the members section (two videos) For the first painting I laid the rocks on the dry paper, then misted over them with the fine spray mister. That is when I dropped in the different inks, once that was nearly dry I began to paint the rocks. Yes, you can use various black watercolors. Lunar Black would be the most granulating while McCrackin Black and Janes Blacks seem to behave the most like ink. Happy Painting friend!

Hi, I hope to film a tutorial covering that soon - but a quick answer would be on a practice rock painting, wet the areas around and slightly over some of the rocks and then pour color and see if you can create the illusion 😍
