Just done that cruise. Really enjoyed the small luxury ship experience, especially the included drinks, proximity to the port centres and the excellent food. Sun loungers were the most comfortable of any cruise we have been on! Entertainment was not great though. Short cruise yes, longer than a week, probably not.

The escargot on Azamara really is quite good. Much better than the escargot on Celebrity. Pro tip for the. Patio: Get the pork sandwich but have them switch out the ciabatta for the spinach wrap. It’s PHENOMENALLY good.

So you mentioned another cruise line that had a very similar ship (near the beginning of the video) and you said your Azamara welcome aboard was much nicer than that cruise line. Without naming names, which cruise line had the best FOOD. :-). Also, I love all of your content and your eternal positivity. Very refreshing in this day and age of “tear down” influencers or “build up” influencers who are paid for their videos. We always meet the loveliest people on Azamara ships. You should come down to Panama City in a couple of weeks for the Panama City to Miami cruise on the Azamra Journey! We’ll be there! 🎉

We are currently at Miami airport heading home after a Crystal cruise which was fantastic. Vlog to follow. One last thing: we just got off Virgin Voyages and were very impressed by the food. I'm sure not Explora quality but we thought as good --if not better -- than Azamara food. Dining is much more casual on Virgin though. The crew were also provided great service -- like Azamara staff, they seem very happy with their jobs.

We’ve been cruising on Azamara since 2018! We’ve cruised other lines with good experiences, but always come back to Azamara! We love the service and the fabulous staff through the ship! Our food experience has always been great! We just love the vibe throughout the ship! Favorite public space is the Living Room! So inviting and comfortable! Our cabins have been great,usually a Veranda and despite the smaller bathroom, that is not a deterrent for us! Great vlog! Enjoy your cruise!

Loved the video! Great content. Christina wore the perfect dress for the White Night. We took Azamara Pursuit in early 2020 Buenos Aires to Antarctica and return. 15 night cruise. Exceptional and still relish that experience. The small ships are really the way to go. Again, good coverage of cabin, dining, service and itinerary. Best wishes to a lovely couple! Marla and Gene☘️

That is awesome, and yet another great voyage for you two! Wife and I just boarded the new Silversea “Silver Ray” yesterday in Athens (Piraeus) and are now between Greece and Turkey for 11 nights! My report at this point is that the Silver Ray is beyond amazing, even more than expected! We have been loyal to Regent and Seabourn (and Silversea) - and still are - but this ship may just “move to the top”! Never seen a ship that is more spacious everywhere! Anyway enjoy your great voyage, and as always Christina, you are simply stunning!!!!

We to love Azamara we had a Alf balcony and loved it we had 16 nights Athens to Dubai we where one of the last ship to go through with all the troubles October 2023. We had been had been on two Viking ocean cruise and we found Azamara food and the effort the staff we just wonderful. Now we are going on Sliversea Nova in December Auckland to Sydney and then in April 2025 Tokyo to Vancouver. Love watching you both can not Wait for you next one . Cheers 🥂✈️

Great review. I have cruised with Azamara a few times and would recommend you book the Club Continent suite. Well worth the extra cost. Much more room and a much better bathroom. All specialty restaurants are included. Breakfast in Aqualina is very nice.

I would echo this, the Club Continent suites are very good; roomy and in the mid ships area. I had commented a couple of months ago on S&C’s review of the other line with the same ships which we didn’t really take to. We drew a lot of comparisons with Azamara and I’m pleased to see this positive review. We’ll be back on Azamara ships a couple of times later this year and I think they offer high standards on a nice size of vessel.

My wife and I enjoyed reading your reviews and wanted to share our experience from a 13-day Iceland cruise on the *Onward* in August. Overall, the food was good, and service-especially from Rakesh-was excellent. However, the ship itself fell short. The *Onward* is the least updated in the fleet, with many old elements and defects from its days as a Princess ship, despite a partial renovation. On longer cruises, it becomes clear how little has been renovated. The cabins, particularly the outdated bathrooms, haven't been touched, and the old, discolored furniture reflects this. Updates are planned for later this year, but currently, it feels subpar for the price. Two ports were skipped while other ships docked, with no compensation offered, and some port days were shortened. We noticed visible cost-cutting during the cruise. At its current price, Azamara's value doesn't seem balanced, especially for longer cruises on the *Onward*. We hope Azamara improves because, right now, it lacks the appeal of other deluxe lines.

We are a bit shocked as we found the Onward to be very presentable and tidy and didn’t notice any sub standard furniture etc. The bathroom appeared modern and recently refurbished but small. We found no cost cutting during the cruise and the dining room/ special events were excellent and generous in their offerings. It’s a 5* ship not a 6* ship and we thought it was good value for its class. Amazing how opinions can differ on the exact same ship just weeks apart! We can only report as we find, and we thought it was excellent with really good dining options, great events, wonderful service and we had nothing to complain about. To truly enjoy the Azamara experience it’s best to have a Club Continent, or Owners suites. The incisions in the suites are really good. No add ons for speciality restaurants and alcohol provided in cabin etc.

@@Donszee Thanks for the great comments! Yes we have sailed on Oceania and had a bad experience and didn’t enjoy it unfortunately (videos on our channel). We were on Oceania Sirena in June, and have just disembarked Azamara Onward and Azamara was far far better, we thoroughly enjoyed our cruise. Oceania say they have the finest cuisine at sea, but we can tell you Azamara was much better! 👍🏼🥂

Very small bathroom, Azamara ships carry 700 pax yet the ship is same size as Seabourn Quest/Sojourn which hold only 458 pax, so space ratio is vastly inferior, as Seabourn entry point suites are much larger then Azamara, you would need to book a Penthouse suite for a direct price and size comparison etc.

@@cheriedoughan5583 Thanks! Explora (Explora Journeys) is 6* deluxe and completely blow away, but the price does reflect that. Azamara is 5* and great value for what you get included. The food was excellent, as were the crew and the events etc, but it falls into the bracket below Explora, Regent, Silversea, Seabourn etc so difficult to compare with them. we wouldn’t hesitate to go back on though as we absolutely loved it, and weren’t expecting it to be in the realms of the 6* ship, but it was really fantastic ❤️🥂👍🏼

Regent is 6* and Azamara is 5* so Regent is better on dining, suites etc. service excellent on both. We enjoyed Azamara and thought it was really good for its price point. We are off on Regent again the day after tomorrow and Regent is absolutely fabulous!! 🥂

You were both lucky I had the worst experience on azamara, early this year the food was terrible cold buffet the worst. I’m surprised you both liked it. When you have been on other better luxury cruises. I don’t know how you both stay slim !
