Hello David and Nong. will have to give Tarka a visit. i arrive to Pattaya first week of April. I enjoy a good curry. The starters look tasty and plentiful. Chicken tikka looked tasty. Love that Nong understands Scottish. Smart lady.

I've never been here but I've heard great things about it. I used to go to the Ali barber on pattaya clang but its a bit pricy. This place looks better. Thanks for posting. The starters look so 👍 good

Raymond, I used to use Ali Baba also, but had a couple of bad (very salty) experiences so changed to Tarka. I have photos of my daughter's and me in Ali Baba almost 20 years ago 🙏🙏

Nong can eat everything on the menu and still be hungry. Dinner looked yummy. Absolutely love lamb curry, my favorite and Indian restaurant seem to No how to make it tender, juicy and mighty delicious [ well most of them ] I laughed when you asked your wife if she wanted to try and YES Absolutely. Such a delicious video and outstanding job.

need to try this place, i enjoy Everest at the back of Hemmingways, i also liked Tikka centre opposite the end of soi honey, but i think they changed ownership, the best for me is Ali Baba on Pattaya Klang, the atmosphere is great with all the staff dressed in traditional garb, but it is expensive🍽🍽🍽

Trevor Everything Pattaya reviewed this. I visited with 3 others and we weren't blown away if I'm totally honest. Coming from Birmingham i guess I've been spoilt.

Yes I've done a course when in Birmingham I remember great taste and very cheap. Unfortunately in Pattaya most of them cater for the Indian tourists, which leads to chopped up chicken, bones and all. I find Tarka pretty good in comparison. I do want to try the place and the Royal Cliff but I'll need to save up my pocket money 🤣🤣

Never Steve, we either take you to places we enjoy, or somewhere totally new to us so people can see. I don't think we ever review the food in depth, just give people the opportunity to see some of the diversity of restaurants available. There are so many Indian restaurants here I have probably only visited about 5 of them. Hopefully the next Chinese dining will be more to your liking 🙏🙏

I prefer Chinese, that said the last time I ate Indian food was in the Business lounge in Dubai a few years ago and it was really good. Never seen 🤪anyone having naan bread with Biryani , that " biryani" looked more like plain rice mixed with tikka sauce on tawa. In india we call it tawa pulau. you shoud always try Dum Biryani which is the authentic way of preparation.

In Jomtien we like Masala Twist, but the meat in the portions is on the small side. I like the curries at Tarka, but love the starters, especially the Onion Bhaji and Chicken Tikka 🙏🙏 I buy Mum about 20 curries a month from Tarka, take away 🙏

I have to disagree with you on this one! Heard soooo much from Pattaya KZbinrs…so I went to try it! Very UNDERWHELMING! Firstly…a good judge of an ethnic restaurant…is how many “locals” eat there! Not one Indian at Tarka House! Secondly…you summed it up with “UK Indian food” ….that is not “Indian Food” that is a watered down version of Indian food to suit a bland boring UK palate! If you want “real” Indian food in Pattaya go to Madras Darbar opposite Central Festival.!! IMHO.

I'll give your recommendation a try. Some of the others I've been to have disappointed especially having bone splinters in the curries. (I understand that Indians prefer meat on the bone as it adds more flavour). For me it's the starters that make Tarka house, I love the Chicken Tikka and Onion Bahji the most. 🙏🙏
