Your videos are unbelievably helpful. Somehow the universe lined up and you're creating these videos on ComplexHeatmap exactly as I am learning to use package. Uncanny.

You are making videos faster than I can learn haha. Still thank you you so much! I impressed my PI with a heatmap haha Have you ever thought about making a video describing your research workflow? Like how you decide which tool to use for the job. Because I think that is a thing that confuses me as a newcomer to bioinformatics

That might be an interesting video idea, Thanks!

Thanks for the helpful video! Is it possible to combine two individual Heatmaps (with individual clustering) in R using the ComplexHeatmap package, so that the second heat map does not take the row ordering of the main heatmap? I just want to place them next to each other without reordering. Thanks!

Nice and informative videos 👍 please make a video on differential gene expression from tcga data

Let me see how I can make a video about that 😀

Thanks for the tutorial ! Silly question. Is it possible to join heatmaps horizontally (ht = h1+h2+h3 etc) that have been vertically joined together (via %v%) . E.g. h1 = h1.1 %v% h1.2; h2 = h2.1 %v % h2.2; h3 = h3.1 %v% h3.2. Thanks !

I believe you are merge plot that are of different size and not from the same dataset. I think the joining refer mostly about joining data with annotation or comparison of data with the same dimensions. For simple merging you can try to use ggpubr for the merging (kzbin.info/www/bejne/qIGqapSArdCcrsU) since you have more customization options there :)

@@LiquidBrain Can you then use the plots generated from ComplexHeatmap of different dimension to be combined with ggpubr? I guess not?
