You need to be a British citizen to be a officer. Finally, you'd need a sponsor until you join service.

Now currently commonwealth applicants are not being allowed to me to the UK,the recruiters say it has everything to do with covid-19,I have gone through my application and my security clearance and residency waiver accorded but I have been asked to wait,so do you have any idear when this travel ban will be off lifted?

Hello Gordon. I'm not sure about when the ban would be lifted for travel, but I can tell you we're both in the same procedure. I actually completed all those things. I had a entry date, however I was unable to make it in time due to travel restrictions. I'm still awaiting my new entry date, as well!

Hi @Sydney, That depends on if you have a current application in the process. Alternatively, yes they're but this is limited to a few roles offered by the Naval Service.
