It's only maintenance free in guidance with the regs when used with a type tested and approved mf box. A ChocBox isn't compliant. You should be using a Wago Connectbox strapped with a cable tie with those fittings.

Hi thanks for the comment, It was a generic term of using a choc box, there as far as I aware no specific guidance on the type of box you use in BS7671, I think most of this taken as just good practice guides. The only guidance as to such criteria as IP ratings etc

Maintenance free has to consider reg 526.3 and Bs 5733 and run alongside manufacturers spec, much more involved than you think🤔
