Just did this myself on my patio got the same brush you used but ended up swapping to a squeegee which I really liked, had my dad as my assistant to keep the surface wet. Went over with a jointer then topped up joints Waited 10-15 mins and brushed off then had to tell myself to bloody stop faffing Happy with the results

I've tried everything on the market and in the end I've come back to good old grout. Frugabella is probably the best as it's a cement, Resin hybrid and is extremely workable.

I used this stuff for my porcelain about a month ago. I’ve been cleaning it ever since. Really nice stuff now I have it clean but not recommended for amateurs like me. First of two buckets I spread out on the tiles but it left a resin all over the surface so the second bucket I mixed in two parts to give me time to use a trowel and point it in. I must say it looks gorgeous now it’s done!

Used it on my last two porcelain paving jobs, found it wetter the better, kept hose constantly going on paving moving grout around with one of those wooden squeegees n seemed to flow and settle into joint much better with lots of water Don't give u long to use it all up though goes claggy loses its flexibility. Does leave a sticky residue over paving. Does Set like rock. 👍🏼
@craigbarnett94895 ай бұрын
I used it on my porcelain at home as a first timer and it nearly broke me and the wife trying to clean it up. It was pre sealed and looking lovely before but almost immediately was dirty looking and sticky all over. It’s taken ages to get it off, I found a grout residue cleaner from floorseal that works great. I pointed the second half in with a trowel so as to make less mess and it looks lovely now we’ve got it almost clean again. Can’t wait to re-seal it and buy some furniture and not have to worry about it again!
@markblakely4045 ай бұрын
@@craigbarnett9489 Yes luckily I carry some outdoor porcelain tile cleaner from floorseal. Diluted some of that in a bucket of water went over worst of residue with a stiff broom and scouring pad. Came off a treat.

Iv just used this stuff today, had a nightmare trying to mix it , didn't know u could add another 2 litres to it so 4 in total, burnt one drill out , nearly burnt my plastering mixer out aswell and that's a big boy, another 3 tubs to go this week so hopefully with 4 litres it will be ok

Yeh I don’t know why when say use 2 bottles or 4 as it’s definitely 4 a 2 bottle mix was definitely not enough 👍🏴

That’s going to be tough on your legs for sure I find one day on my feet means the next day the ache a lot doing a full week might not happen. Apparently so I’ve been told in some of the comments it can take a few years to totally heal up. Also depends on age I guess I’m 54 👍🏴
