Watching your videos in reverse order. Funny to see you catch the pike and trout at the same time. You called it in this video before the season began. That big trout pattern plug may find a Pike there yet. Enjoyed the video! Thanks for sharing.

Clay Littleriver Frequently happened in that particular pond , two pike landed together with a hooked trout and one in this year so far . Sadly trout as bait nor live bait is allowed around here , .......otherwise I might have tried it , since I'm really in despair about poor lurefishing this spring ! .......but fall season's gonna come one day , .........greetz , Dieter

I can't wait to cast out as well on the first of May on a public lake because I'm really missing pile fishing. Nice video. p.s. Does anyone know if you can fish for pike in England all year round, Sweden?

Thanks a lot , .......sorry , but I can't give you any detailed(and especially no reliable) answer to your question , you'd need to do some googling , I guess . All I know is , that in England there are closing times regarding rivers and stillwaters , don't know about particular species . Greetz , Dieter

61diemai Dude, I got a Got'Em Coach. Throw it a couple of times and retire it to wall b/c I hate in like two trips. I respect the art of lure making. I make my own lures too. I know the amount of work people put into a lure. Lures like the Delta Wood Bomber to me is junk but they're charging $50 for one. Why would I be joking when that statement isn't even funny?

megasif My apologies , ....obviously I would not be a good business man , just can't imagine , that someone would be willing to pay that much for my humble work(though such price would be approbiate regarding the working hours put into it , ....you're surely right about that). This is why I've never seriously considered about selling my lures , also I do not like to be committed to possible orders , ......it's just a recreational hobby to me , .....just putting out my lures in the web to possibly inspire other fellow lure carvers , as I also do receive inspiration and input by other fella's work as well Please do not take any offence by my first reply , .........greetings , Dieter

61diemai I understand your position. I too make lures. I feel you. My only thing is my lures are not made to the standards of the industry...I have unique lures....and concepts that work...I mean I take XRaps and modify them...and I have stuff like hand carved lures and things like Sharpie pens for topwater...so nothing like what you are doing. What you are doing is actually a marketable deal. I think if you really wanted to, you could become exceptional as a lure maker and a business man. Don't sell yourself short. And I think you should allow other men to buy your products if they wanted to b/c some want to use them and some want to collect them. You know. And it's like your personal legacy. I mean sell whatever few you have. But, like I've mention, if you can get a CNC machine or and some good workers, you can make easy money. That's up to you if you want to be rich or not...some people don't want to be rich or take that route in becoming rich....I understand that too.

megasif Sorry for belated reply ,.......thanks alot for your advice ,.....but I've never been a venturer , though . But I must admit , that I had already thought about the option to generate a little extra income with selling my homemades , if I had to , ...but so far I'm able to get along . Greetz , Dieter
