Why do people like this album its ok. Like I was so disappointed in this album. The singles hyped this album and I thought joji was doing something different that was good. Sadly you go from a song like Run which is a master peice to a song like upgrade or pretty boy which seems like he doesn't even care.

MUIE ABI TALENT you do realize that In Tounges was still part of 88 Rising and was produced by a professional producers. If you want to compare you should have said Chole Burbank. I always took the album cover of B1 as being almost like his front. The front he puts on to pretend that everything is a joke, but actually if you listen to the album, behind this red eyes is someone hurting. Especially when you see some of the interviews shortly after he packed in the FF channel, it seems like he was suffering in silence for a while but he couldn't show that to people so he just put on that happy face. That's just my interpretation anywho

@@_.Dylan._ Your Man was a pretty good ender especially since the previous 2 being Reanimator was chaotic sounding, and Like You Do before this was in a slower type of style, it wouldn't really do it for me if it ended just at Like You Do. I'd probably go, "Oh, that's pretty good, but the end wasnt strong enough." Once Your Man started in the album it woke me up and the upbeat yet not chaotic beat and its slower descent until it ended gave me sounded and felt right to me. Tbh, Gimme Love probably would also be a good album finisher, maybe even better than Your Man or Like You Do would especially with the beautiful end part with Joji's vocals and the instrumental, with Your Man in the middle. But hey, that's just what I think.

This is the first time i really fell in love with an artist. 🥺 joji’s music and lyrics can give so many emotions. His music videos have hidden messages, the style for the album nectar where each one is connected and they tell a story. His acting and unique presence 👏🏼❤️❤️❤️

Feel like this album is underrated. When it first came out, I think people were expecting a different record when we got Singles like "Run", "Daylight" and "Sanctuary". These had very mainstream/stadium anthem pop vibes. But when the album came out, it had a lot of stripped down lo-fi tracks, that were carry overs from Jojis early albums/sound. But the album really does age like fine wine. Even his more stripped down stuff is so achingly beautiful, and the whole album takes you on an emotional journey. I liked the record when it came out. Now I absolutely love it.

I’m a huge fan of Joji as he is my favourite musician and has a big influence on my own music, and it’s been so interesting seeing his progression from Pink Guy and FF (which was also amazing) to where he is now. This album definitely didn’t disappoint, some of my favourite musical moments on this album were high notes on Ew, second half of Gimme Love, chorus of Sanctuary, the instrumental of Normal People, BENEE’s harmonies on Afterthought, the first half of Pretty Boy and pretty much the whole track “Like You Do”. Great review!

This Album came out the same month I broke up with my ex girlfriend of 4 years. When he said that there would be songs that would resonate extremely deeply, he was right. Even now, listening to these tracks, there’s a deep sadness in my heart. It makes me so happy nonetheless, knowing how much this album helped me out.
