@Drumavid Checkupz this was unscheduled and near closing time. The only people lucky enough to witness this just happened to be in earshot. I was all packed up to leave when this happened. You are lucky to see it all, and there is no panning, just one shotgun mic recording two drummers at different distances.

Watching earlier Jojo, then Advanced Techniques and this....he's like Gandalf now: He's grayer, wiser, has even more control, taste and refinement and dresses in a very rustic rural garb. And I might be wrong, but the "wise sage" prevented a chop fest and kept it tasty via his triple forte "obnoxious" (in terms of emotion, not musical taste) at 5:45 and the immediate return to finesse. A super musical dialogue between extremely proficient musicians....primal communication at it's finest.

Same feelings here, IMHO it's almost as the two (who taken singularly are absolute MASTERS) could not find that subtle mutual harmony that can be sensed ie on the Mayer-Smith duet or in many many many other duets... maybe both of them got just tired and annoyed at a hard day's night, who knows :)
