Yes, but the ability to recover is what makes a pro. I remember seeing Chad Smith break a stick in concert; in one motion, he threw it into the crowd, picked up a new one, and never missed a beat.

Absolutely incredible. Funny how some folks are commenting on a “mistake” 😂. If you’re worried about making a mistake you can’t really let go. Took a lesson from JoJo in the early 90s and the cat is a true artist. Pros don’t skip a beat

Jojo doesn't so much play the drums as he does dance them, if that makes sense. He's unmistakable, and inimitable. So inspiring to watch and listen to.

Jojo is the real deal! I saw him play with the RCM big band a few years ago, and he lifted and united them and they played out of their skins - he was intensely listening to them all and responding to what they were doing. An actual proper musician as well as a technical genius.

It's not about the mistake it's about how awesome that recovery was and it didn't get up in his head when he was doing the back and forth floor Tom kick drum he went to switch that up a little and got the f*** away from it but all in all Man it's amazing that you can be that good and still be humbled at times. He could have dropped both sticks and started crying and I still would have been like nah you're good you got me. Lol Love his sound! All in all they sound like drums but they got the perfect boom crack warmth and sing that I look for especially in the jazz department. It's so funny Bonham basically took a jazz drum open as in not muting tuning concept and applied that two huge oversized drums and then add his swing jazz influence and power and well you know what you get. I was listening to outtakes of them just kind of playing in a room it sounds so much like rooms I've been in. It's amazing just how they would get on a cool riff or a groove and just hang on it for a long time taking chances over playing but it was truly amazing and one thing they did is they constantly recorded and I implored people I've played with over and over we have to constantly record when we're writing. Well kids nowadays you don't have to deal with other people. Lol

Умиротворённость, бля😁 всё съиграли, всем доказали, чё корячиться? Это не только Майер, это и Вейкл и Колайута, да всё. Хотя это никак не умоляет их гениальность. Это эпохальные чуваки, респект им.
