I think it's the fact that the DIO photo was something we had seen before and it would look weird to see the same thing with a different artstyle, but the Polnareff and Jotaro story was something new that was introduced in part 5 and it was like a couple years after Stardust Crusaders. i hate it. we aren't supposed to know who is who or what exactly they/he is or if they were always like that or if it happened later. that red eye crap isn't in the manga. are they/he a split personalty, demon, half alien, twin brother, parasite stand, who knows, that's one of the beauties of the character. diavolo/doppio are characters made around mystery..doing what they did, messes with the character. that'll never be canon in my eyes.

@@pannacottafugo1875 diavolo/doppio are a mystery, theres actually no way of knowing which one came first or if that was even a thing, we don't even know what they are. for all we know, they could have just been a mix of eachother originally but split later on. it could be a split personalty, or diavolo could be a parasite stand or a demon, they could be some weird twin mutation, their/his dad could be an alien and they are the result of that.

You missed a very small difference! In the scene that takes place after Diavolo is defeated and Mista urges them to find Bucciarati at the Colosseum, Giorno is shown trembling in the manga, a call back to when he was a child and wanted to cry, he could only tremble. This is not in the anime, instead Giorno just looks sweaty and a little distressed.

17:25 I would argue that the reason Epitaph is snapped in half as opposed to completely removed is due to the fact that Diavolo CAN still try to look in the future, but it's fractured and fragmented and it doesn't make any sense anymore due to the effect of GER. The removal of the scene of his liver being removed also makes the madness feel like it's a perpetual loop of nightmares that he can't wake from.

Most people enjoy it with strawberries, chocolate or jams. If you see a picture of it, you will see why Fugo’s hair is white and his clothes reference the strawberries. The anime changes looked good, but didn’t make sense to his name.)
