He could potentially sense them as they are a construct of life energy, but not being able to see them is a huge detriment when they have abilities that bypass durability. Cheap Trick: Instant Death when someone looks upon Goku's back. Killer Queen: Literally turns Goku into a bomb. There is no resisting the explosion because he becomes the bomb and explodes. Purple Haze: Goku has died to the Heart Virus on one timeline and suffered it in the main timeline. He is susceptible to illness and diseases. Senzus do not heal against illness and poisons. GER: I'm only bringing this up because you made an untrue statement. it is a stalemate. Neither side will ever win. There is no "Goku will get used to it" as the stand is automatic and reacts to any intent or attack that may cause harm to the user.

Diavolo and his stand, King crimson, function off the concept of “cause and effect” he removes the cause with time erase after gazing into the future with epitaph in order to discern if this future’s outcome is unpleasant for himself. He will remove the cause of his loss/defeat in order to remove the effect that was his defeat. Gold experience requiem is the complete opposite, no matter what the cause is, the effect will never be reached to begin with. For example, you shoot a gun at GER/Giorno. GER reverts the effect of the bullets being fired because of the cause: you pulling the trigger. A better example would be the infinite death loop, dying to GER means you never reach your actual death. The “Truth” (effect) of GER’s actions are unreachable therefore you will experience infinite deaths as none of them are the truth. Your death becomes infinitely postponed as your soul and entire being is forced to suffer forever.
