So JoJos Bizarre Adventure is a Manga Series that started in 1987 and is still going to this day. Spanning over 8 parts, soon to be 9, aswell as a bunch of questionably canon spin-off mangas, Jojos bizarre adventure is one of the most influential series in japan. And didnt really get popular until 2012 shere studio David Productions started making the faithful Anime adaption, currently on part 6 which is actually going to release in chunks every few months instead of weekly. Each part has its own cast of characters and protagnist but still follows the adventures of a member of the Joestar Family, who, yes, nickname ends up somehow being JoJo. With the community, memeability, and sense of adventure, JoJo is one of my favorite Anime and Manga series ever and i cant wait for more people to get into it.

Yup, JoJo has influenced a lot of games, shows, and whatnot. And Araki has collabed with A LOT of well-know brands such as vogue, gucci, the famous museum (I forgot what's it called), and a lot more. Araki's creation is revolutionary.

Jojo isn't one single person (every part has a new main character), its a nickname to everyone in the Joestar Bloodline (ex:*JO*nathon *JO*estar, *JO*lyne Cu*JO*h) The Joestars in summary to try and not spoil anything basically just fight really strong people who have something against them/are stopping them from doing whatever they need to do. And you're right it is a very different anime but personally it's one of my favorites, you can watch two different parts and they can be entirely different from one another yet if you hadn't seen the previous ones it wouldn't make sense. For example, part 4 is a slice of life murder mystery, part 5 is a mafia rags to riches story, and part 6 is a prison break. It's really really different but once you get into it you'll probably like it. (Part 1 is definitely the slowest part and is why a lot of people stop watching it but it's integral to the story but it's only 9 episodes.) The anime itself isn't very old starting in 2012 to now where it is currently broadcasting Part 6 (There are 8 parts in the manga with the 9th starting up soon) on Japanese TV and Netflix. The Manga it self started in 1987 so it is pretty old. The fights are really good in this anime, they're more of a who can outsmart the opponent and sort of solve the puzzle first followed by a satisfying beatdown in the end and the story keeps you on your toes. Main character deaths are also very common, nobody is safe. It's a really good anime in my opinion, some parts I enjoy less than others but that's normal when every part is so drastically different. I would rate it a 9/10.

yeah ur accurate, jojo's artstyle looks a bit more realistic than most anime's artstyle and that's definitely the reason why some people were not a fan of it. but you'll eventually get used to it as u watch the show and find the artstyle seemingly interesting n perhaps find it one of the best artstyle in anime! love ur reactions tho :)

So, the openings change depending on what happens in the show. Jojo is honestly amazing, it dosen't play around like so many other shows (well some times when needed, but those are just wholesome character interractions). You truly are on a beautiful bizarre adventure, but like i said the show dosen't mess around, so character deaths are relevant in every part... Hope you react!

I started watching Jojos about 1 year ago when i was sick of not getting some memes. CAME FOR THE MEMES AND STAYED FOR THE PLOT COMPLETELY! The animation, the style, those subtle changes made on the openings,, all tjose music refreneces. GOSH! I CAN SAY THAT JOJOS IS MY FAVORITE ANIME AND MANGA EVER! And i was already pretty otaku before Jojo's. I found myself singing along the openings and the endings, not skipping once, making crazy theories, theorizing about whats is going to happend in part 9 BUT ONLY ARAKIGOD KNOWS! Btw i really liked your reaction!

I totally understand Jojos art being a turn off. The way it looks is why it took me so long to watch it, but it grew on me sooo much. I went from hating everything visually, to it being one of my favorite shows ever when it comes to art.

the animation on the intros are diferent from the anime itself, also ist a generational story, in fact, the protagonist jonathan jostar (the original jojo) died at the end of the very first ark. there are multiple "jojo" characters do joseph joestar jotaro kujo josuke higashikata (a kanji thing) giorno giovanna (gio gio) jolyne kujo jonny joestar and a character that we will call gapy for the sake of confusion also the reason its looks so diferent is becouse jjba is 30 years old, is a manga from an age dieferent than now that to this day is still in goin
