DIO uses it to take a photo of the crusaders when they boarded the plane where the tower of grey fight took place. He also used it as a crystal ball in polnareff’s flashback. it’s also probably how DIO was able to see Joseph when he looked at him in the TV. I’ve seen some people say that all hamon users get the same stand, and so this stand would still be called hermit purple, but there’s no proof of that, so it’s just called jonathan’s stand, but it does totally exist. also, because we know for a fact what jonathan’s stand is, we know the world is not his stand, it’s DIO’s

My favorite jokes are probably: - Joseph continuously being young - Jonathan being in every part - "Gramps" alongside "Jiji" - Echoes 1-3 instantly - Jotaro making "Dad" jokes about time (Double entendre leading up to Part 6) - And finally... Jonathan having access to The World. Despite Araki confirming that he has his own stand (The other Hermit Purple that DIO uses like twice) and The World is DIO's, I like the idea of The World being Jonathan's. I have my own theory/headcanon for the idea, but I'm still fleshing out the concept, and it's essentially circumventing all pre-established canon regarding DIO's two stand conundrum.

He stops time and opens a window, letting the sunlight in. Does he evaporate immediately or is he affected after time resumes?
