This theme compared with his past self really reflects Joesph's growth from Battle Tendency, he may no longer be as clever, cunning or strong as he was in his prime, but he still has his determination and hard fought experience to still be an invaluable ally as well as a proud Joestar.

Hes still really clever. He's just outclassed by all the stand users around him. His stand really isnt a combat stand, so he needs to use his wits even MORE to defeat his foes. They have some sort of wacky magic ability that can help them in combat. He has on-demand rope. And said on-demand rope is the only way you can hurt a stand directly.

@@mouthwide0pen just use Hamon to shock the user's nervous system. If someone who is not trained in hamon gets a huge surge of hamon, it could overwhelm their brain and pass out or even die. Joseph's stand may not be for combat, but it is the perfect conductor for something that is.

Yeah lol. All of the events happened in the new universe the same way, except Pucci doesn’t exist and Jotaro wouldn’t need to worry about stand users trying to hurt him, so he becomes a good father XD. I’m not sure how part 5 would work though, unless Jotaro goes to Morioh only to meet Josuke.
