This is how JoJo works: There are 8 parts (5 animated), each in a different time period and setting, and includes a different set of characters, with the main character being part of the Joestar family. Part 1 is called Phantom Blood, it takes place in Victorian England and centralizes on Jonathan Joestar. Part 2 is Battle Tendency, taking place at the beginning of World War II and centralizes on Jonathan's grandson: Joseph Joestar. Part 3 is Stardust Crusaders, and it is the first Part to introduce Stands, which are kinda like superpowers plus having a ghost that punches stuff. Part 3 takes place in the late 1980's and is about Joseph's grandson, Jotaro Kujo and his Stand Star Platinum. Part 4 is called Diamond is Unbreakable, takes place in 1999 in the small Japanese town of Morioh, and is about Joseph's illegitimate son, Josuke Higashikita and his Stand Crazy Diamond. Part 5 is Golden Wind, and that takes place in 2001 Italy and is about Giorno Giovanna, whose relation with the Joestar's is kinda complicated and is a bit of a spoiler. In op part 3 (battle in Egypt) -Everyone on the left of the stairs survive all on the right die -When they discovered that Dio’s power was time stop a lot of key details appear like how the knives are going to jotaro, Dio’s hand piercing Jonathan Joestar(sorry if I did wrong) Part 4 (Breakdown) -When time is reversed all the main character get reversed but the small boy is uncovered wich means he is the only one that see and is not stopped by killer queen who reverses its own action. -Chigechi can be seen in the coules since he died There are tons in Part 5 (Golden Wind) Especially the first op but I don’t wanna type a whole paragraph

I gotta accept it's unique and I enjoyed watching it, the fandom is very loyal, the best memes among any anime till now. But falls short compared to anime like AoT, Fmab, Code Geass which follow one storyline with interesting plot twists and character development.

@@ElMango14 nah I only found parts 3 and 5 to be similar and these both were kinda boring. These parts followed the same formula of "random stand users until we reach the boss". Part 4 is the best part in the anime tbh. And the Part 7 manga is one of the best stories ever written. The only reason I don't think JoJo is "the best anime ever" is because it isn't. Objectively it doesn't even come close to one of the best animes bcoz it's just random short stories combined to form one anime with just *very* little connection to other parts.
