Also, for Dapper, there are two "parts" in season 1. Part 1's protagonist: Jonathan Joestar. This is the very beggining. He is called Jojo, a lot, and goes by jojo. These two are Joestars, and their first part of their name starts with "Jo" so if you add *Jo*nathan and *Jo*estar, you get JoJo. Part 2's protagonist: Joseph Joestar. He's after Jonathan, and he also went by Jojo. It's the same as how Jonathan is called what he is call, Jo from Joseph and Jo from joestar. Part 3's protagonist. Jotaro Kujo. He is after Joseph's part, but is his grandson. He's the one who fought Dio. The "Jo" in Kujo is where the second Jo is in his name. Part 4's protagonist. Josuke Higashikata. Josuke goes after Jotaro's part, but is Josephs son. So technically he's Jotaro's uncle, but he is younger. Josuke means JoJo, because the symbol/kanji for "Suke" also can be read/pronounced as Jo, so that's where he gets the Jo from. No, Higashikata does not have a jo. Part 5's protagonist: Giorno Giovanna, is after Josuke's part. It's in a completely different place, but you meet koichi (who was in part 4, josuke's part) for like 3 episodes. However, Giorno isn't related to the Jojo's. But, "Gio" means Jo, and (SPOILRERS. DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE SPOILED): Giorno's dad is Dio, and since Dio took Jonathan's body when Dio lost his body, and took jonathan's body after he killed him, he technically has the JoJo birthmark.

I watched this reaction a month ago without the experience of watching Jojo, and ofc I was tempted to try watching it right after. I spent 2 weeks watching all parts available without skipping the opening even once because of the expectation of the variations. Jojo is separate into 8 parts (anime only covers 5 parts). Each part is a different story, time period, location, even different genres, and a different jojo as the protagonist as the story follows the family across generations. The manga has been going on for 30 years and has influenced tons of stuff. Opening variations usually happen at some reveal or major event in the endgame of the part revolving around the villain. Additionally not included in that video is that usually at the last showing of each OP they use a version that has sound effects
