This is exactly why I enjoyed Part 4. I kind of wish that they included MORE non-plot heavy episodes TBH, they were always a great watch and even helped build up the cast of characters. I would watch an entire anime of Josuke, Okuyasu, Koichi, and everyone else in Morioh just kind of goofing around and getting into crazy situations The "Part 4 Drama CDs" kind of fill that void, as its less "drama" and more just Josuke Okuyasu and Koichi goofing around and getting into trouble, sadly, they have no animation because Yknow, they're "CDs", but at least fans have gone through the trouble of translating them. But still, hot damn I need moreee.

my favourite ep in part 4 has to be sheer heart attack the music and tension of this fight thrills me that this little tank can be so scarry and powerful it almost killed jotaro! my favourite part in the ep is when koichi finds its weakness and it just rides around aimlessly giving the viewer a break from all the tension. I just love it!

Great video man! Gotta say that I love part 4 immensely. It has crazy twist and turns everywhere and really felt like every episode was handled with love. Even to the very end, it felt like it broke the tropes that many animes rely on to wrap up a story. Definitely one of my favorite series to date.

Slice of Life anime is extremely underrated, to me. I understand why a lot of people would call it filler, for a lot of shows, but it's stupid to me that, that term seems to devalue the episode/episodes. Nice job, with this review/analysis, dude! I've never seen JoJo before (Although, I've heard the name), but this honestly makes me wanna watch it! Also, I don't know if that's the JoJo soundtrack, but whatever music you used throughout this swoll vid, was HAWT!

Kira's great, but all the different components of his stand can be a little convoluted - esp bites the dust. But his stand is basic compared to Part 5's villain - I still straight up have no idea how Diavolo's stand works.

BITES ZA DUSTO (BTD) is activated by placing Killer Queen (KQ) on someone. When Kira is in a tight spot, like when he killed Hayato, BTD randomly activates, and KQ is placed on that person, like with Hayato or the nurse. The person in question cannot be a stand user. Then, whenever that person who has BTD planted gives any information at all, no matter how, about Kira, BTD activates: KQ places mini-KQ in the eyes of those who heard this info, and these mini-KQ explode, killing the victims, and then time turns back, by god knows how much. Each time BTD kills someone this way, time turns back. This is what happened with Rohan's first death. However, because whatever happened in the erased time must happen again, the victims of BTD will explode and die regardless of whether BTD was activated again or not. This is the second death of Rohan: since he died in the first loop, he must die in the second as well. This death is not due to BTD: rather, it's because he died in the first time loop. Therefore, time does not turn back. But when BTD is activated again, time turns back again such as when it killed Jotaro and co. If Kira had looped time a third time, then he could have just hidden Hayato somewhere, and since Rohan died in the first time loop, he would die again, not by the hands of BTD but just because that's how time loops work in Jojo. And even if Jotaro and co. didn't meet Hayato in the third loop, they would have died anyway for the same reason. Time would not loop again, since their death would not be due to BTD in the third loop. If, after the third time loop, Hayato had triggered BTD on a random passerby by telling them about Kira after Jojo and co. died, then time would have looped a fourth time, and the deaths of Rohan and Jojo would have been repeated. To avoid this, Kira could have deactivated BTD. Then the deaths of Jojo and co. would be saved forever. However, had BTD been deactivated before the death of someone repeats, then that person will not die anymore. That's what happened: in the third loop, Hayato forced Kira to deactivate BTD before Rohan died, and as a result, Rohan didn't die in the third time loop. It also seems like Kira can trigger BTD manually. He placed the bomb on the nurse, and was about to pull the trigger. She would have likely died and he would have turned back time. And apparently, Hayato was revived by BTD, but that might just be due to the time rewinding of BTD. It's a bit like a saved game: you have 3 bosses to beat in a row, so you save before you fight. You die vs the 1st boss, you reload your save, and you know how to kill the 1st boss now, so no matter how many times you reload your save, the boss dies. Same thing for the second and the third (that's the inevitable death in each time loop for BTD). After you kill the third, you save the game again (that's like deactivating BTD after it killed someone), and even if you reload a save, the third boss will already be dead. If for some reason, you beat the three bosses but didn't save, and you reloaded the old save from before you beat the three bosses, and a plant pot falls on your head causing you to forget how you beat the first boss and a concussion, you basically are entirely back to square one, devoid of save files or knowledge. That's like Hayato forcing Kira to deactivate BTD.

Richard Sejour, that's more or less what I said, but phrased differently, or rather thought of differently. But thanks for reminding me: in my explanation I forgot to add that BTD will protect whoever it is planted on, and that that person will also remember that time was reset and whatever happened, but Kira will not. He just knew what BTD could do, and from Hayato's actions inferred that he must have been reliving the morning, and thus must have blown up someone. That's why he was hidden behind the tree watching Hayato. WarDog, welcome.

I hated this adaptation. David seriously has zero idea what good pacing is. Even though it's unnecessary as hell, they kept in every piece of exposition from the manga in the anime's writing, and I believe even added some in, too. And even if it's obvious, and even if it literally just happened on-screen, they WILL make sure a character screams it out like not only they're retarded, but the audience is, too. Now, that's not to say the other parts didn't have this problem, they did, I'm just airing my grievances with this part since it's kinda the point of the video. And whoever responds to this, if anyone, if you give me "oh, the completely unnecessary, amateur exposition just adds to it", all I hear you saying's that the video games are shit, since they don't have a shred of it. Well, aside from EOH. And even then, it's a lot less.

It sucks that you hated this adaption. I'm honestly surprised to find someone who feels part 4 had too much dialogue. The majority appear to dislike how Part 4 actually got a lot of content cut out. Because it's longer than part 3 but got less episodes. They cut a chapter of a fights conclusion one time. Well its good for you that they went with a 3-cour 13 episode plan than a two cour 24 episode plan. Then we'd have had episodes like rat hunting, restaurant, and Koichi goes ssj episodes being two--parters.
