Currently I'm helping to get the dub uploaded in its entirety to KissAnime. I'm sending out the audio to someone who's editing it over the video who then uploads it to KissAnime, and it's all going pretty smoothly. The full dub will be uploaded as soon as possible, but as a result of this I'm not going to be able to upload nearly as many clips as I was able to before.

The people who complain about English dubs will complain about 'all' English dubs, regardless of quality. If it's missing something from the Japanese dub, they'll bitch about that, too. What people don't realize is, some humor doesn't translate well over cultures, nor does it always sound as good to try the same soundbites. Like "Oh no!" and "Holy shit!" with their Engrish just wouldn't sound the same and even if they did, you can be guaranteed there will be talking about the superiority of the original. Frankly, the VA's aren't that bad. People need to get their heads out of their asses about Japanese dubs being superior and realize their tastes aren't the be all end all of the fandom. tl;dr? I'm a person who likes English dubs and finds most of them underrated and hated on just because they're not "The Original Japanese" and even I don't like the Dub of JoJo. the VAs are fine I'm sure they're in a lot of other cool shit but in my opinion the voices just don't fit In the English dub.

Hell, I love YuYu Hakusho's dub, and with the exception of Jin's badly stereotyped Irish voice I think the voices are all really good, but JoJo's dub feels like it was done by a bunch of American kids playfully mocking Italians and Brits, especially Brits. Being a Brit myself Joseph's voice actor feels like he's taking the piss generalizing brits like that. I guess the soaps like EastEnders, Emmerdale and the like are not common overseas. Too bad. The dubbing company could really learn a thing or two in regard to our accents by watching them. British people do not all sound alike as these dubbing companies seem to believe. In fact, depending on where you live you can have an entirely different accent to say someone who was born in London.

I love how their English dub VAs are also in Miraculous Ladybug. Except in Miraculous Ladybug, Ceasar’s English dub VA voices Adrien/Chat Noir who is the side protagonist and Joseph’s English dub VA voices Adrien’s best friend Nino.
