When it comes to Giorno directly tho, we really don't have enough information about what he does after he takes over the mafia outside of "better than what diavolo did". One could make the argument that he didn't really have enough legroom to be a good person prior to the end of part5 due to the constantly escalating siturations. It is just kinda the issue with protagonists that are left after the end of their story. It is impossible to know where they are really headed in the future.

To be honest Joseph joestar is literally the Joestar that made me fall in love with this show besides Johnathan and how bizzare it is. But seriously given how much of a trollish and clever character Joseph is. Its hard to stay mad at araki for his trollish attitude towards alot of plot things. Every thing from his bizzare way of spoiling the entire show without you noticing until you get there everything from the opening. To how in diamond is unbreakable we literally see the first few major characters after josuke stopped the criminal. Araki just made Joseph and his descendants to but mainly his main direct descendant his great grandson josuke who has very similar hair to his very great grandfather when he was young. But seriously this just hit me hard and to realize he was alive the whole time when you (most likely) and I were crying he just comes to crash his own funeral although. Its no wonder the date was shown hinting Joseph was alive but araki made it so convincing up until this point when we saw him (supposedly die) and someone just causally walking towards the funeral to probably mourn. It was a genius distraction araki and Joseph pretty technically broke the fourth wall and pranked everyone. Add to it being on April so it was probably a huge troll.
