The thing about Eugenia Cooney is that she was targeting kids under 18 who are highly impressionable. All of the money from her lives and most of her views were from kids who did look to her for ED inspo, so she was age restricted. Yes and as someone who did battle w the mental aspect. If you work to stop feeding the narrative overall the behavior goes away with those thoughts//are under control. I think Trisha is beautiful and she clearly doesn’t like being heavy and that is physically balance with exercise and diet. There genetic factors, I struggle with weight. I was 230 then 132 in a year time so unhealthy no muscle. And now I’m like 170, soem muscle and now it’s the slow work of okay I can’t eat this because it’s not gonna help my end goal. When you keep telling yourself it’s okay to mess up and it’s okay to have several and days; no one should want to kill themselves if they mess up and that’s why ppl say “it’s okay” but if you’re looking at numbers and she does want to have lower numbers it’ll be a challenge of “I want” and “I’m going to”. I know she said “promoting obesity” and that’s not what they’re doing. They’re not saying “be this” they’re saying “it’s okay” and 400lbs is not okay. I think there was a giant who ate 2 dozen eggs and was like 400 lbs. I think the same man who worked w Adam Sandler, and he is the only man I’ve seen and heard the weight that large and thought “that’s healthy for him tho”

When Eugenia was 5150 by her friends (who knew she would never seek help on her own and knowing that it would cost their friendship), she was forced into rehab for almost a year. When she came back to the internet she had a normal face and body. I'm not saying we should diagnose someone, but we know what it is, and so does the tiktok reps. If youtube did as much, maybe she would stop profiting off of the views she gets from people checking in to see if she is still alive, and would seek recovery. Maybe not, but we are past not knowing what she is struggling with.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I had an ED in my late teens that took many years to get over. To me, I think it’s hard to say someone should be banned because of their weight. It would be one thing if she was giving “diet” tips or something, but she doesn’t talk about ED. It’s like saying someone should be banned if they have a mental illness or if they are too overweight from binge eating d/o. I don’t think banning people for their bodies is where we wanna go as a culture.

Also, part of what fuels her disease is attention, so at what point is tik Tok liable for giving her a platform which will only further exacerbate her disorder?

i’ve had problems gaining weight back ever since my dad passed away, i’ve always been tiny but i lost even more when my dad passed. i’ve been told i’m too skinny and “boney” since i could remember. teachers would even say it to me pretty much every day at least one would. they would tell me i’m so skinny, or “ i need to eat!!” the nurse even said i looked bulimic. to my face. i feel like no matter what weight you are, people will ALWAYS have something to say. no matter what. it’s just really their insecurities i believe.

I just want to say, as someone who is considered "skinny" myself, I think I weight 50kg, I really do not know because I do not weigh myself regularly, I have never once looked at you Trisha and noticed your weight... I do not ever look at anyone and judge them by their size, no one motivates me to "stay skinny", I just eat and work out, I do not think about my weight, other peoples weight, maybe that is me just as a healthy individual I don't know but I can say that not all skinny people watch you to "stay skinny" or be motivated to stay skinny... we watch you for you, because you are entertaining, relatable and beautiful inside and out. But whenever I saw Eugenia content it honestly makes me physically feel sick and upset, I cannot watch her. So she definitely does not motivate me to stay skinny, if anything she motivates me to eat lol... not to be rude, I wish her to have a full recovery some day but she motivates me to eat MORE...

JoJo reminds me of the spoiled, rich brat who turns 18 with her great grandfathers trust fund, and fires all her personal staff that she as appointed by her family that used to do everything for her, like laundry, cooking, driving, etc. and wants to desperately prove to everyone how capable she is, when she’s not. Is JoJo talented, yeah, ofc. But is she a try-hard who has too much arrogance, and delulu like Oscar mentioned, also yes. She’s simply not revolutionary.

Trisha is so inspiring. She has matured so much and grown into a beautiful, empathetic, wise, nurturing woman. She took accountability for her mistakes and learned from them. She's open and honest about everything, even if they're uncomfortable or controversial. She finally got the life that she deserves. It gives me so much hope for myself. Moses is such an amazing man. He's always true to himself, supports all of Trisha's hobbies, and carries such a gentle and loving energy. Oscar brings so much light and laughter to the podcast. She couldn't have found a better cohost. This podcast is truly my comfort show, and I always look forward to it. ❤

I sorta kinda want to say I understand what Leo is saying. As someone who has recently gone up several sizes in clothes, it is me and I would never complain that a brand won’t cater to my size. But I’m 32 and that’s for me to figure out. This is more about the kids. Imagine being in middle school- high school and all your friends shop at Brandy Melville but you can’t. Not because you can’t afford it but because you don’t fit in their clothes. That would suck.
