People don’t recognize that jojo was literally groomed. Not in a sexual way but she was conditioned by her mom and the other people in show business to think that this is how adults act, that this is how she performs “I’m a grown-up now”. She thinks it’s normal for adults to befriend children they met over the internet, that’s a result of adults exploiting her from a young age and pushing her to be a performer. And nobody in her circle is stepping in and saying “hey, this isn’t right”, they’re all just yes-men encouraging her to act like a clown so they can make money off her.

As someone who used to work as a bartender, if she was as drunk as she was pretending to be she would've been cut off several drinks back. In the US you have the added danger of being sued if they get in a fight, accident, etc. You overserve them and they get arrested, they might sue you themselves. Bar will lose their license, you could go to jail, all that.

@@Kinikia95 Yep we have that here as well. You keep serving someone alcohol to the point where they get intoxicated and hurt themselves or someone else, you can be held liable for it plus bar can lose their license. Not worth it to keep serving someone who's drunk. Offer them a non alcoholic drink, maybe a bit of food as well, but if they keep insisting you serve them more alcohol then it's a flat out 'no' and prepare to have security escort them out.

disney people spend so much money for years & years & years going there, buy tons of merch whenever they drop a new collection, they have space just to display these things too... it is an addiction imo because you can't tell me collecting & displaying so much merch for the sake of just having it is an organic phenomenon... it's part of being in a community for them, & a LOT of manipulation with things like FOMO & how they rely on advertising methods that induce the same kind of effects as casinos & gamblers. i remember a customer with disney themed clothes, a mini disney backpack, disney wallet, even their card had disney characters on it, & their lanyard too. like... it's so all consuming. what do some of these disney people do besides look at stuff to buy from a particular corporation? it genuinely depresses me when it gets that intense. we need hobbies of *doing* things & *creating* with our hands, not just for profit but for our own enrichment, catharsis, & fun. but so much of what people "do" is just buying stuff & talking about it, even going to disneyland is just a hub for you to spend money on. just to get in, it's $$$ & to do anything there it's more $$$.

Shes not actually drunk....she takes 1 sip n puts the drink down n gets a new one. Every glass is full
@eggstermin83 ай бұрын
she did finish the shots, one of which was tequila. so there's that. no way she would have made it to 15 or whatever drinks if she was actually drinking them all though. she would have been throwing up and shitting herself. which probly would have been less cringey than her trying to make everyone sing her stolen song no one actually cares ab.

As a former bartender, she would have been stopped a while ago. That's freaking Annoying! There are other people involved trying to have a good vacation.

You hit the nail on the head with that drink count. Even if she has been drinking for years, 12 drinks and shots she would not be walking and talking. Pretty sure she was that buzzed by just sipping each one.
@Jane-oz7pp3 ай бұрын
Sometimes I wonder if Australians are just built different because 12 drinks plus shots is an EASY accomplishment in a day. I used to literally drink a carton of 24 between leaving work and going to bed.

We have a term for this in Norwegian - fjortissfylla. “Fjortiss” is a slang variant of fourteen (fjorten), and is used about teenagers (or anyone really) who behaves in a stereotypical cringey (often bitchy) teenager way. “Fylla” is a state of drunkenness. We use “fjortissfylla” to describe when someone pretends to be more drunk than they can possibly be, and also when they act out drunkenness very theatrically. Let this be your word of the day, lol.

She took baby sips. If she were legitimately drunk, she wouldn’t have been able to count past 5. I once made it to 12 drinks in one night, over the course of 6hrs, and I had food at least twice that night, but that was after 6yrs of constant drinking experience, and then I went cold turkey a month later.

5:58 Here in the US, some of us do the same.... And then some of us at the age of 16, find a stash of unopened 40s of Hurricane malt liquor in the woods and have a sleep over where they share it with their friends.... And then later overhear at school that the mysterious stash actually belonged to the band kid who is totally baffled about where her and her friends' secret alcohol went, and upon learning this you feel somewhat relieved regarding the safeness of the woods beer, but also kind of bad for raiding this chick's stash, even though your friends have all agreed to take that secret to the grave..... But that's some people, and definitely not me. Cheers! 🌲🍻🌳 Edit: typo!

This is actual normal. to answer Robert's question, sometimes people wait until they're 21 and sometimes people start drinking when they start college. Anyway, the 21st birthday is special because you are finally Legal to drink and buy alcohol. To celebrate your 21st, you get hammered and do 21 drinks/shots. So her being around friends and family cheering her on, making sure she eats, drinks water, and paces herself is the most responsible way to do this. and Yes it is very doable. So i personally do not understand why people are upset. She's around safe people, in a place where people are drinking, and i dont see any young kids around.
@BreakofDawn3 ай бұрын
No one’s upset at her for drinking at Disney for her birthday. People just think it’s cringe that’s she’s walking around Disney, looking like bob the builder, pretending to be drunk. It’s very clear she isn’t drinking any of the drinks, all the drinks are full when she gets a new one. It’s just cringe she pretends to be drunk, that, and forcing people to sing her song when they don’t know the lyrics

I’ve had a few adult birthdays at the American Girl Cafe and have had a blast. My dance family is pretty sober but we don’t need drinks to die laughing the whole time. I’ve also had plenty of birthdays in Disney Land. That being said JoJo just seems to feel the need to really tell everyone how adult and mature she is.
