She encourages her daughter to stay strong from what they believe to be bullying when they go out of their way to heckle others. Her mom even said that another teammate Brinn had no personality and that she was dancing in Jojo's style to put some energy in her routine because "she doesn't have a personality of her own", and the only reason she said that was because Brinn's mom was new to their mom group. Out of all of the other moms i remember Jess, Jojo's mom always being the pitbull of the group who went out of her way to be a mean girl.

@Prince Charming and Snowwhite Once Upon a Time Abby talks to them all that way it's just the way she is, but in the context of student teacher Jojo was being extra because she didn't place where Abby wanted her to be in a competition so she placed her on probation and Jojo got mad and said something and the other moms looked on with awkward faces, then Abby responded that rewards should be earned then called her a rude little girl and that no other student talks to her like that as far as i remember. Also Jojo would say off the wall stuff to the other girls in class like calling tap dancing stupid and boring after Maddie told her that it holds a special place for her because tap was the dance that started it all for her, the other girls were always rolling their eyes every time Jojo opened her mouth the first season she was part of the group, and they told her that she basically talked too much, came off opinionated, and that she was sort of obnoxious. Besides all that though there were few times when Jojo was mean when she wanted to be but her mother seems to be like that all the time, like making fun of the other moms or mocking their kids to make them feel bad about being new to the group like when she told a new mom that her daughter was boring and that because the girl tried a more hip hop dance that she was trying to be like and look like Jojo because she didn't have her own style. She and her mom both seem to be vindictive and overly self righteous.

First of all, I am so sick to death of the sense of entitlement in today's society. Second of all, it's a bit hypocritical for someone to slam another person for their beliefs. Why is it ok for JoJo to believe what she believes yet, not okay for Candace to stand firm on what she believes in. If you want to keep traditional marriage at the core then that's fine, but does she have to publicly announce it ? As person who respects the LGBTQ community it is considered offensive as if she is rubbing it in their faces.
