Looks like a great machine. I want a machine that can make a pour over, without me actually standing there for 5 minutes doing it manually. And it looks like this may be it. Great price. The LED lights on the front remind me of a tamagotchi. And the water line in is a really nice addition. Every product has an app now, but I like that the autopilot mode doesn’t seem to require the app to brew a cup of coffee. A few concerns I have: It looks like the coffee filters are $0.09 each, which feels like a lot. And the height is 17 inches, making it slightly too tall to fit under my cabinets, so it’d be hanging out taking up space on my counters or island. Great video by the way!

@CaffeineLoaded yeah I too saw the filters are a little expensive. Probably a result of being custom made for the omni dripper. You could use kalita filters for cheaper with a less perfect fit. The height you can't win that one. Thanks for watching this!

I didn't look into the price before watching the video and I have to say it is considerably less expensive than I was expecting at roughly $800 Canadian About the same price as a moccamaster and grinder, not including a decent controllable kettle or a scale, so the value certainly seems good The aesthetics of this are way cooler though I think

@vukoobar this one is the one to get. This one you can use the scale, water, grinder separately, water storage gives you at least one to two more cups, pummable, an interface you can use without a phone...

I like the white one, but i do have concerns about the plastic getting yellow-ish over time.

I read about some complaints with the dripper you're using in the video. It doesn't sit flat in the hilder and thay causes the coffee to drip from one side. Seems like it's doing that in the video, too. Have you noticed that or heard about these complaints before?

@arredondo1990 I think if you want to to hold the cup perfectly you could push it slightly harder in the holder. As far as uniform distribution out of the holes I don't think that's an indicator of uneveness. I don't really know exactly what causes it but could be the skin of the liquid drawing it in one direction -capillary action maybe?

Not sure why they're even still selling the old one or who's buying it. This one seems strictly better except for not having a metal body at $200 less

they probably have a lot of them to offload? It’s true the new one kind of makes the old one irrelevant, though the old one has a look and feel some might prefer.
