Stevie came to Philly to play the Uptown Theater when we were young. He was coming out of a building from giving a radio interview. We were running home from school to have lunch not paying attention. Ran right into Stevie and stopped to say I'm sorry and saw it was Stevie and lost my mind. Fingertips was out and He couldn't believe I knew who He was. Was like I had been hit by a thunderbolt LOVED Him every since. Thank you Stevie for the music and joy you've given the world💜💜💛💛💚💚🥰🥰😘😘

Really the greatest concert I’ve ever been to…..carried away completely on a cloud of love, a Oneness, a freedom that he created and creates that I am still inspired (as I write songs myself. I always thank him in my heart and write chord changes that I think might turn him on!) Stevie Wonder is “the second coming” in my opinion. What other form could Christ consciousness appear in?? We were very lucky to be able to see this concert live, it was a real party atmosphere, everyone was dancing in the isle's, this was on his birthday 13th May '89 this tour Stevie did for Africa, if you look you can see the stage in the round was the map of Africa also the map of Africa on top of Stevies blue piano, great memories of an amazing concert! ❤

First time I saw him at Wembley Arena 1980 he had a horn section, I remember Hank Redd on sax. Last gig at Hyde Park performing Songs in the Key of Life, full horn and strings section. The 12 year old Genius will be a 71 year old genius next week.

(were you actually performing on there? -saw one of your videos) At the time of this concert I was about 17, five years into my deep love for Stevie's music. Ironically I live in London, so was right there in the city at the time of the concert, but, since there was no 'information age' as we now have; I knew nothing of the major concerts and couldn't have known that Stevie was right there in my city at the Wembley Arena. To be fair, at that age I was still a bit of a closet Stevie Wonder fan and feared my friends would have thought of the music as uncool. It's only years later that I started realizing just how significant he was. I was probably surrounded by fans and didn't even know it. Anyway, so glad to have the internet now with all these great live performances. He truly is a master of bringing all sorts of people together.

Hi ! When STEVIE WONDER was touring in PARIS, he played his show 2 nights. I couldn't go to see him the first night, but the second night, I went to BERCY, where he was playing, without ticket. I was with a friend of mine, and had a fight with a big guy. Suddenly, a guy took me by the shoulders. I told him to let me, and he answered "I work for the security ; if you're fighting about weeds, you give me some and you and your friend you'll be able to see the show". Of course, I gave him weeds, and we entered. We were at 10/15 meters from the stage, and didn't moved from there during the whole concert. That concert, David BOWIE, Joe JACKSON and Gilberto GIL were the best shows that I've ever seen. But seeing the great STEVIE for free, I couldn't imagine it would happen in my dreams. One of the greatest musicians in this world !!!
