Once I heard Lady Gaga was rumored to be in the movie I was out. Harley Quinn has always been hot and Lady Gaga... well.... she isn't. Joker was lightning in a bottle. Theoretically, the Joker appeals to heterosexual men. Phoenix is not known for having a heterosexual male fan base. Lady Gaga is generally offensive to heterosexual men. This movie is a musical. The original it's a OK film, but the only reason it made so much money was the media going bonkers as it goes back to the Dark Knight Rises where someone went into a showing on opening night I think it was and shot dead a lot of people thus the media wanted something similar to happen with Joker, yet the yoke on them as nothing happened aside from the film crossing the billion dollar mark!!
