I honestly got the sense Joker 2 was going to be pretentious once I heard it was going to be a musical. The French subtitle of Folie a Deux only made it sound even more pretentious, like exponentially more. Glad I skipped it. The thought of the Batman villain taking the name from a crazy rando that swept the city into a panic however many years back is much better as a thought and not what we are shown in the sequel.

Failed Woke Products: We got Dustborn as a financial loss and flop only overshadowed in the same month by Concord, Forspoken and its developer destroyed after their woke flop, Suicide Squad Kill the JL developers were shut down after it failed (they changed Mr Freeze into a lesbian btw), Concord an actual record breaking AAA failure that recouped ZERO % of its budget and sold worse than E.T. for the atari which caused the videogame crash of the 80’s it didn’t even last TWO WEEKS before everyone was refunded and the servers were shut down and it sold less than 125,000 units world wide!, there was the failure that is Redfall, the Avengers game which has already shut down its servers which had its dumbass woke Ms Marvel story campaign and it’s now an unplayable and a financial failure, Flintlock Siege of Dawn was another woke flop, Goodbye Volcano High sold LESS than its PARODY GAME THAT MADE FUN OF IT, Tales of Kenzera:Zau had a PEEK of only 290 people playing it at the same time when it was released as a failure, Alan Wake 2 which had it’s white female lead changed to be black among many other woke story changes hasn’t even made its budget back as of 2024 a year after it released. Then in media we got the butchering and “modern adaption” of the Witcher Netflix show that failed harder every season after the first until both the lead actor left and it got canceled, the Rings of Power netflix show canceled after its 2nd season and only continued from the first because of contractual obligations, we have, pretty much ALL of Star Wars on streaming after the Mandalorian S2 “underperformed”, of course we have the well known failure of the “reboot” Ghostbusters with an all female cast that made less than it cost to make.
