Nice bit of irony the _Nightmare on Elm Street_ having such relevancy to _Beetlejuice_ given that _a Orionis_ aka Betelgeuse gets its name from being the one of the stars that forms Orion’s hands. Literally “hand of Orion”. What is one of Freddy Kreuger’s most standout details…?🤔 Uh…red and green are, if anything, on opposite ends of a traffic light. On the visible light spectrum, red is on one end and green is smack dab in the middle. Admittedly that’s if you don’t wrap purple back around to red and just keep it as ROYGBV…🙄 Saw it less than an hour ago and it was a mess. I won’t spoil anything and await the ME review.

I didnt know USA was not a Republic already. I must have dreamt the fact that I read that it was a representative republic and not a traditional democracy. But democracy have lost most of its original meaning.

Never even stood a chance... Like any other actor-based remakes, they flop because it's the actors themselves who carried the movie

Thus was obviously a money laundering operation. Like almost all government spending, 90% of the money never goes where its supposed to and just ends up in the pockets of politicians and lobbyists.

I am not playing video game to see regular people in it, but to escape from the real world, and be surprised by other people limitless imagination! It is hard today, to be excited (for me) about the majority of the video games released in recent years, even some of the most popular ones, cause they are just recycled outdated, mechanism, design, universe, bestiaire, races! After a certain time playing video games u don't wanna see the same old food on ur table! And then trying to find excuses, on both sides!

Sorry, I would offer a sweeping statement that all western officials are corrupted , maybe not in terms of financial gains but more dangerously in the mindset. Why would Norway fund a project against Trump? It is none of Norway's issues. Oh btw, if Trump becomes President again, how Norway is going to face that. I find these developers ar like babies in a cradle, or in a world of their own. Goodbye to their career.

The thing is, Brandon Lee aside, this was a bad film all around. There nothing good about it. A lot of people trashed it because of the trailer and their attachment to the 94 film, I wasn’t one of them. I didn’t mind how it looked, I had an open mind. When the first scene came on I had a feeling of impending doom, I knew it would be bad. It didn’t have to, it’s like they tried to make it terrible. I didn’t like the remake of It either, I had high hopes but its like these films have such great source material to draw from and they totally abandon it for stupid ideas. Smh.

I think those funds were spectacularly spent, for meager few hudnred thosuands dollars Norwegian government helped to discredit wokeism in very effective way on multiple levels. Combining release of the game with other woke flops helped to amplify the result and cement the demise of woke in popular culture. This is how you win information wars. Touche!

I like the 1988 film, it's decent, and I shall no doubt rewatch a few more times. I have no interest in this sequel. For the love of God please stop with this crap. Having said that, if people I trust say it's a Top Gun2....

Great content as always! Even with Burton not having done anything good in quite some time, I'm going to see the sequel as I really enjoy seeing Michael Keaton on the big screen.

Ragnar Tørnquist used to be a good writer, so seeing him reduced to writing slop like Dustborn just hurts. The Longest Journey is one of my all-time favourite games, and while Dreamfall was flawed, it had cool ideas and really vibed with me when it came out. I donated a lot of money to the Dreamfall Chapters Kickstarter, and even got a tour of Red Thread's offices when I got my fancy box for that game back in 2019. There we got to see a really early build of Dustborn, and even though I at that time had yet to really realize how skewed the media really was, I still saw that this would become some preachy shit. I had not imagined just how preachy and up its own ass it would be. It's a disgrace how Norway is one of the richest countries in the world, yet our schools and our elderly rot, while stuff like this gets support. I would like to see Ragnar and the others at Red Thread argue that they deserve the money more than a kid with learning-difficulties deserve an assistant teacher, or a grandma deserves an extra nurse that can help them through the day.

I wonder how the paper used to make Norwegian money feels being wiped on their game companies assess. They’re essentially flushing money down the drain. Instead of using the money where in games that actually want to reach the audience. Not the fake kind that doesn’t exist who tend to play games like Dustborn or Concord.

You are completely wrong in expecting, the government "will ask why no viable company is kickstarted w/ that money". The above model is 1:1 taken from the state-subsidized film industry that is in place in many if not all EU countries. Under that model individual directors are given money for projects w/o expecting commercial success, and that is the point - "this is art and not for-profit industry". The goal is to have "culture" in that country. In the movie variant, nominations and awards are the most important, but not necessary, gauge of success. In any case, the idea is not to "kickstart the career" of a director. As I said, this model is copy-pasted into the gaming "industry". One can argue, the fact there is "a scene" can be considered a success? I don't imply all this is good or bad, just noting, your expectations are not realistic.

I dont know mate, you are too focused on not doing remake (way you repeated same sequence 5 times in row). Remake can be make as praise toward Brandon. To bring it even closer to graphic novel. Not do it because of money, dont make it action movie but art movie. But where it would break anyway, you woudnt get anyone as Brandon. There is no comparison. One would need long time to go through all places to find real incarnation. It could cost a lot and you may still not be able to find right one.
