Thank you for the Klas "update". I'm delighted to know you're business is booming with people that want to go out on a tour with you. I'm happy if you update just once a month during this time of year. "Business" comes first! Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.

Yeah, the light is special in Jokkmokk, I had never seen a mother of pearl cloud before I came to Jokkmokk, I have also noticed that some days in the darkest couple of weeks when the sun shines the low clouds are red 360 degrees around, and when it's dark and there is a full moon the snow lights up everything and the snow will sparkle. I've met some people who hate the dark time but I'm not one of them.

Yes the dark time is incredible in many ways. /Stina

Can't wait to come back to Jokkmokk. Currently saving money again to come back with some friends! Was so great to see Sten and Anita again the last time I visited in 2019. Can't believe my internship with them has been 6 years ago already in 2016. I still miss Jokkmokk every single day. Glad I can watch your video's to experience the feeling of home again. ❤

Thank you for all these nice videos 👏 Thue are realy awsome. Sone years ago I have been in the Jokkmokk area and Rapadalen now. Gives me flashbacks! Now we live quit simular lives in Telemark. Not so many dogs (only 10). Not so big wilderness outside door. But still many simularities. These videos are so much better then much streaming tv! Keep up the good work and have a nive day. Best regards Jan-Eilert Pedersen

Hej Jan-Eilert! Thank you for your heartwarming comment! It makes us truly happy to hear that you like our videos so much. 10 dogs are quite a lot if you have them for hobby. If we weren't making tours with guest we wouldn't have as many dogs as we have now but it doesn't mean that we don't love them tremendously 🙂. /Stina

Very enjoyable, thank you. I love all your wool clothing. I would be interested to know how you dress for those temperatures. In England we have a bit of snow and the whole country falls apart.

Just wondering, do these dogs get frostbite?
@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA2 жыл бұрын
It's very rarely with the Siberian huskies. But a male with little fur could get froatbite on the penis if you for example run them in extreme cold or very hard cold wind for very long distance without stopping. Then they pee while running and the pee can freeze in the urinary tract and build up. This is more common on Alaskan huskies than purebred polar dogs like Siberians. Also females can freeze their titties but also very rare on Siberians which are well coated on their stomachs. /Stina
