And I thought I had heard all of the great versions of this greatest of all Cajun tunes. I love this video; you can write your own morbid storyline about what happened to this woman's truncated life. Like certain Irish ballads, i hear this song and I am emotionally overwhelmed. Poignantly-beautiful beyond words, regardless of language.
